Amazing day trip to wine country
Our Brunello wine tour with Nunzio was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Tuscany. From start to finish, he provided an unforgettable experience filled with exceptional hospitality, fascinating knowledge, and genuine passion for the region. Nunzio’s expertise in Brunello wine, the history of Montalcino, and the local culture made every stop meaningful and enjoyable. He took the time to explain the winemaking process, share the stories behind each winery, and answer all of our questions, making the tastings even more special. His recommendations were outstanding, and it was clear that he has built wonderful relationships with the local wineries. Beyond his knowledge, Nunzio’s warm personality, professionalism, and attention to every detail made the day seamless and relaxing. We never felt rushed and truly appreciated how he tailored the experience to make it both fun and memorable. If you’re looking for an authentic Brunello wine experience in Tuscany, we couldn’t recommend Nunzio more highly. Thank you for an incredible day filled with amazing wines, breathtaking scenery, and memories we’ll cherish for years to come!

Don’t miss this!
This was just the best day! Nunzio was amazing—so friendly, relaxed and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. He was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with and we feel very lucky to have done so! The wineries selected were just perfect. They were very authentic and memorable. The food and wine was exceptional and we learned so much about each winery and the region at each stop, as well as along the way with Nunzio. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. It was one of the main highlights of our trip and something we will always remember. Thank you Nunzio for such a special day!

Wine country
Short viewing of Montalcino then two wonderful wineries. The first winery had great food made by Nonna. The second winery had organic sourced wine. Our driver Nunzio was wonderful. One of the best days of the trip.

Perfect Day!
My family has been on several wine tours and this was simply world-class. Our guide for the day was Nunzio and he checked all the boxes. He was extremely professional and at the same time terrific company and very engaging. He was very knowledgeable of wine and historical elements of the area that made the tour very interesting. When we are back in this part of Italy we will certainly use “Let’s Andiamo” again…and request Nunzio!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Brunello and Nobile, Wine Lover Tour Montalcino and Montepulciano: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Brunello and Nobile, Wine Lover Tour Montalcino and Montepulciano cost?
+
Prices start at $776 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Brunello and Nobile, Wine Lover Tour Montalcino and Montepulciano take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Brunello and Nobile, Wine Lover Tour Montalcino and Montepulciano worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 100 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Brunello and Nobile, Wine Lover Tour Montalcino and Montepulciano?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Brunello and Nobile, Wine Lover Tour Montalcino and Montepulciano suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Brunello and Nobile, Wine Lover Tour Montalcino and Montepulciano?
+
Around 35 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Brunello and Nobile, Wine Lover Tour Montalcino and Montepulciano start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
