    Good value trip

Although it is marketed as English tour you have 1 tourguide on the bustrip. Mostly Spanish used by Victor on the bus.

    Beautiful city

The bus trip was pretty long, but it was worth it because Brugges was beautiful. The guide when we got there was awesome and told lots of interesting stories about the city. I just wish we had a little more time to explore on our own.

Wonderful one day trip to Bruges

Great way to get a glimpse of lovely Bruges if you are short on time. Our tour guide gave us historical information as we made our way from Amsterdam to Bruges. Our guide in Bruges provided an entertaining commentary on the beautiful town. Good experience overall.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review! We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the trip to Bruges and the historical information provided by both guides. We’re glad you had a good experience and hope to welcome you again on another tour! Best regards, Victoria P.

Do not miss this incredible trip

Headline: Best trip ever. My wife and I booked this trip not knowing what to expect. Advertised as a 12 hour trip it seemed longer than we would normally do. The reviews were great and the price made sense so we booked the tickets. We thought it looked good but we were not expecting it to be such a highlight of our holiday. First of all, I would like to thank the bus driver. Jose put safety first every step of the way. I felt safe every second that he was behind the wheel. Safety is the only thing Jose takes more seriously than his other skill set... Speed. While under total control, Jose made his way to Bruges in this most efficient way I have ever seen. He is a true professional. The bus was nice and cool and waters were provided for 1 euro. The bus was about 2/3 full with plenty of space to recline your seat to get some rest. There was a restroom on the way there but it was not available on the way home. Instead, we stopped at a service station halfway home. Next up, Ana Maria. She was our host and historian sent from God. The trip was primarily Spanish speaking but Ana Maria spoke fluently in both languages so the entire bus could learn more about Amsterdam and the Netherlands. She spoke between the two languages so well that it inspired me to learn Spanish. Three days later and I can't stop. I will be joining you on the Spanish tour next time, Ana Maria. 10 out of 10. When we arrived, we broke into seperate tours for the English and Spanish speakers. We basically had a private tour with only one other English speaking pair. This is when we met Maria, a Moscow born, Bruges local who was everything we could have wanted in a tour guide and more. She showed us not only tourist attractions but also little things that she has noticed while being a resident in town. She was incredibly informative and lead a great tour. Her love for the city truly shows. Our favorite part of the tour was the lovers bridge where I got to kiss my newly wedded wife on a true piece of history. The other couple did not kiss on the lovers bridge. According to Maria all lovers must kiss there so that leads me to believe these other two were not in love. Even if they were there as friends or colleagues... it would have made more sense to get carried away in the romance and passion of the moment. If they are a couple, they won't be for long. True love finds its embrace on the lover's bridge. If you are reading this review, think hard about who will be joining you. Don't let the opportunity to promise in the form of a kiss upon the lover's bridge of Bruges. We were allotted plenty of free time to eat, shop, and drink around town. The bus ride home went just as smooth as the ride there and the stop at a service station was well timed for everyone! Thank you to the entire team! You all were a part of such a special part of our honeymoon.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that the Bruges excursion became one of the highlights of your honeymoon. We’ll be very happy to share your kind words with José, Ana Maria and Maria. It means a lot to know that their professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience so special for you. And we absolutely loved the story about the Lovers’ Bridge! 😊 We hope you keep many beautiful memories from Bruges and from your honeymoon. Thank you again for choosing Camaleon Tours, and we hope to welcome you back one day — maybe next time on the Spanish tour! Best regards, Victoria P.

Sadly This is Not what I Expected

I think it is important to know that this is pretty much an architecture tour- looking at buildings and styles (which are beautiful) but we didn’t “do” anything… I would have liked more than a lunch recommendation. It was a long bus ride for very little in return. My bad for not reading up on Bruges so I could have led our family around. Mike was an excellent tour guide but you all need to give him more to work with and more to do (see the Michelangelo, for example) instead of us walking in circles and never figuring out how to get in/buy tickets!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed Mike as your guide, and we’re sorry the tour did not fully meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments about including more activities and clearer guidance on visits and tickets, as this helps us improve the experience in Bruges. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Best regards, Victoria P.

Bruges Day Trip from Amsterdam: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.

How much does Bruges Day Trip from Amsterdam cost?

    +

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bruges Day Trip from Amsterdam take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.

Is Bruges Day Trip from Amsterdam worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 264 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bruges Day Trip from Amsterdam?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bruges Day Trip from Amsterdam suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bruges Day Trip from Amsterdam?

    +

Around 92 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bruges Day Trip from Amsterdam start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amsterdam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
