About this experience
To paraphrase Ralph Fiennes: “How's a fairy-tale town not somebody's thing?!” If you've seen the film In Bruges, you'll know all about the Gothic spires and delightful nooks and crannies of Belgium's celebrated walled city. If not, it'll be a nice surprise. This day tour from another beautiful city, Amsterdam, includes a one-hour guided gander through Bruges' cobbled streets and plenty of free time to explore. Why not climb the Belfry or try some of those to-die-for Belgian chocolates?

Beautiful but extremely crowded
Bruges was beautiful as advertised, and our guide Pieter was helpful and gave good recommendations. Although it was not the fault of the tour company, I was unprepared for the huge number of tourists that made it difficult to navigate the city.

Great job “G”
My wife and I had the pleasure of having Goulven affectionately known as “G” as our tour guide to Bruges. From the very beginning of the tour it was well organized by G and his staff. The bus ride was pleasant and very informative. G shared a lot of facts during the bus ride to Bruges. Which BTW made the ride extremely enjoyable. While touring the city you can sense his passion for his job and wanting to share his knowledge. He also answered a lot of questions from our group. We got great recommendations for place to eat, buy chocolates and local beers. Thank you G for making our trip an enjoyable and very educational experience All the best Rob and Eileen

A worthwhile journey
Pedro was wonderful. The bus driver was an ace behind the wheel! It is a 3 hr drive each way so be prepared. Coach was comfortable.

A quickie
This is a mixed review. The tour is dependent on weather and traffic. Our trip encountered an accident in route which delayed our arrival. Our time in the city was reduced to around 3 hours. The city is wonderful to see, the guide was informative and the travel arrangements were really good. But the time was so tight that it was rushed. We would recommend it, but be aware of the time risk.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bruges Tour from Amsterdam: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.
How much does Bruges Tour from Amsterdam cost?
+
Prices start at $116 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bruges Tour from Amsterdam take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.
Is Bruges Tour from Amsterdam worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bruges Tour from Amsterdam?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Bruges Tour from Amsterdam suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bruges Tour from Amsterdam?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bruges Tour from Amsterdam start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?
+
On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amsterdam?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
