A real life highlight!

Absolutely wonderful trip - a real life highlight. The scenery and wildlife is stunning and it was such a thrill to see manatees, crocodiles and all manner of species of birds so close up. Our guide Luis was excellent and made us feel so welcome. His knowledge is extraordinary and we learned so much , not just about the area and wildlife but about Mexican culture too. He timed the trip perfectly so after delicious freshly made cerviche and beer watching pelicans fish, we came back in the sunset watching flocks of birds come home to roost- it was sublime .

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It truly warms my heart to know that the trip was such a highlight for you. I loved sharing that incredible experience with you—spotting manatees, crocodiles, and so many bird species up close is always a thrill, and I'm so glad we got to witness that together. It was a pleasure to share not only the wonders of the local wildlife but also a bit of Mexican culture along the way. Timing the day so we could enjoy fresh ceviche and a cold beer while watching pelicans fish, followed by a sunset return as the birds came home to roost, is one of my favorite moments to offer. I'm delighted that you found it as sublime as I do. Thank you for choosing to spend the day with me. It would be wonderful to welcome you again sometime! Warm regards, Luis

Perfect Sunset Tour

Perfect evening on the boat. The wildlife was amazing, the sunset was beautiful and Luis and Jorge were great guides. The ceviche on the beach and the manatees by the cenotes were so special. A highlight of our trip to Tulum. Thank you.

We are delighted to know that your evening on the boat was so special and that you have taken away such a beautiful memory of your time in Tulum. That you describe the experience as a "highlight" of your trip is the best compliment we could receive. We will pass on your kind words to Jorge; for us, it is a great motivation to know they helped make your tour memorable. I agree that the combination of fresh ceviche on the beach with the manatee sightings near the cenotes is truly magical, and we are thrilled you got to enjoy these natural treasures. It was a genuine pleasure to have you on board. We sincerely thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We remain entirely at your disposal for whenever you wish to explore these waters again. It will be an honor to host you once more! Warm regards, Luis TRMO Top Experiences

Breathtaking Sunset at Sian Ka'an: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.

How much does Breathtaking Sunset at Sian Ka'an cost?

+

Prices start at $3888 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Breathtaking Sunset at Sian Ka'an take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.

Is Breathtaking Sunset at Sian Ka'an worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Breathtaking Sunset at Sian Ka'an?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Breathtaking Sunset at Sian Ka'an suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Breathtaking Sunset at Sian Ka'an?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Breathtaking Sunset at Sian Ka'an start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tulum?

+

On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
