Very efficient and thorough service

We booked the all inclusive package to take away any uncertainty about getting train , bus and into Machu Picchu. Right from the start you are looked after all the way. You wait in the waiting area a short walk from the station in Ollytantambo and then you are led according to your carriage number by brightly traditionally dressed staff members playing local music and dancing their way down - very charming. Once on the train a staff member checks in with you, tells you to follow them upon arrrival at Aguas Callientes, where you are then handed over to a guide who escorts you to the bus , and gets on with you and then takes you on whichever circuit of Machu Picchu you have booked. On the train itself you get refreshments and music and wide windows to see the scenery. If you are given the option try to book the right hand side of the train going and facing the direction of travel.- here are are single seats facing each other and it’s the right side to get the best view All in all an excellent experience and I highly recommend them.

Extra attention to detail makes the experience memorable.

Staff was courteous and helpful from the moment we checked in until we stepped out in Macchu Picchu station. Little things like tea and snacks in the comfortable waiting areas made it a wonderful experience we will recommend to others.

Disappointed

My husband, son and I were scheduled to take the Inca Rail on May 13 from Cusco. We stopped in on the 12h to confirm our tickets and to see where we needed to load the bus. This is where we found out that the train wouldn’t be running that day due to a strike by the farmers. We needed to change our plans but unfortunately we didn’t have enough notice to cancel our hotel in Cusco and then had to find one for an additional night in Aguas Calientes. An additional cost to our trip that we weren’t planning. We also had to change trains from the 360 to Voyageur with only a $21 refund. On our return trip we were able to leave 3 hours earlier than planned but were charged $150 for the difference. Overall, we were disappointed in the Inca Rail policy and will recommend PeruRail to our traveling friends.

Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco cost?

+

Prices start at $923 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco take?

+

Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 24-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco?

+

Included: Hotel drop-off; Bottled water; All taxes, fees and handling charges; Alcoholic beverages; and Dinner. Not included: Gratuities. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco include hotel pickup?

+

Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 2 listed pickup locations in and around Cusco.

What languages is Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco offered in?

+

It is offered in English and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Breathtaking MachuPicchu FullDay Tour with First Class IncaRail Train from Cusco?

+
