   Travelers have the option to pause at one of Puerto Vallarta’s most iconic viewpoints along the scenic coastal road at National Park Los Arcos de Mismaloya. From this lookout, guests can admire the famous granite rock formations rising from the turquoise waters of Mismaloya — a National Marine Park known for its beauty and rich marine life. It’s a perfect spot for stunning photos and to learn about the natural significance of our protected areas. This optional stop also includes time to browse the small, colorful local flea market nearby, where local artisans offer handmade souvenirs, crafts, and regional snacks like Mango, Coconuts and other local fruit.

3. Vallerta Botanical Gardens Ac

   Upon arrival, we will check-in and stroll along well-maintained nature trails surrounded by native tropical plants, rare orchids, wild vanilla, bromeliads, and even ancient trees. Guests can learn about the cultural and medicinal uses of many plants, the region’s conservation efforts, and the deep connection between local communities and local endemic flora and fauna. The Botanical Garden also includes on-site restaurant "Hacienda de Oro", known for its authentic Mexican dishes and stunning jungle views. This experience is perfect for nature lovers, photographers, families, and anyone looking for a peaceful and enriching day surrounded by the beauty of Puerto Vallarta’s flora and fauna. Depending on the season, travelers can cool off with an optional swim in the clear river trails that runs through the garden grounds. So don't forget your towel and an extra set of clothes.

4. Baston del Rey

   To complement your day surrounded by lush tropical gardens and native flora, you have the option to visit a local, family-owned tequila distillery—a cultural gem nestled in the countryside on the way back from the Botanical Garden. Here, you’ll get a relaxed, behind-the-scenes look at how artisanal tequila is crafted from blue agave, following traditional methods from harvest to distillation. Your local guide will explain the connection between the land, the plant, and the process, offering cultural context that ties beautifully into the day’s nature experience. Guests will enjoy a guided tasting of several tequila varieties, learning to identify unique aromas and flavors, and are welcome to chat with the hosts or purchase a small-batch bottle as a memorable souvenir. This stop is completely optional—but for those who’d like to end the day with a taste of Jalisco’s rich cultural heritage, it’s the perfect way to toast to a day of nature, beauty, and tradition.

Depending on your starting point or route, we may offer a brief, completely optional stop at Jewelry & Marino Marino — a well-respected local workshop specializing in handcrafted silver and gold jewelry, including Mexico’s national gemstone, the Fire Opal. This stop is first and foremost a strategic comfort break, giving guests the chance to use clean restrooms, stretch their legs, or enjoy a quick refreshment before continuing on. For those who are curious, this family-run workshop provides a glimpse into the region’s mining history and the artisan process behind traditional jewelry-making. Local artists are happy to share their craft and culture, but there’s absolutely no pressure to shop or stay longer than you wish. Whether you take a peek inside or simply take advantage of the facilities, it’s a thoughtful pause built into the day to help keep you comfortable — and perhaps discover a hidden gem along the way.

6. Puerto Vallarta

   After a fulfilling day of exploration, we’ll begin our comfortable return journey back to your hotel, resort, or cruise terminal. Sit back, relax, and take in the final views of Puerto Vallarta’s scenic coastline or countryside. Your guide will ensure you’re dropped off safely and efficiently at your original pickup location — with plenty of time to reflect on the memories made and the stories you’ll take home.

• Pickups are at 9:00AM: We pick you up anywhere in Banderas Bay. Our tours generally begin at your hotel lobby, residence of choice, including cruise ship visits at P.V. terminals, or selected villas. Please note that we operate on Jalisco local time (Pacific Time Zone).
• Restaurant and Tequila Facilities: Please be aware that the availability of restaurant and tequila facilities may vary based on current conditions, capacity, weather conditions and availability. Additionally, dietary restrictions may impact the options available to you.
• We do not provide car seats for children and infants, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. For safety reasons, infants cannot sit on a parent’s lap during the ride. We strongly recommend using a separate, properly secured car seat to keep your little ones safe and comfortable.
