We'll walk Lexington Green, seeing the oldest monument commemorating the War of Independence, the lines of the Lexington Militia, and the sites of the Meeting House and Belfry. Facing the Bay Road is a statue memorializing Captain John Parker.

The tavern, used as HQ by Lord Percy when he arrived with reinforcements for retreating British soldiers. We have the option to go inside the Munroe Tavern, Buckman Tavern and Hancock Clarke Houses, with admission being an additional charge.

The tavern adjacent to Lexington Green, where militia members waited, after the initial muster, to reassemble when the British expeditionary forces reached Lexington. We will pass by the home where Samual Adams and John Hancock were guests of the Reverend Jonas Clarke. It was here that Paul Revere warned Hancock and Adams that the British Army was approaching Lexington.
