Very informative, great...

Very informative, great history of Bordeaux, went to many establishments frequented by locals. Helen was a great guide!

Not loving the food tour , but loved Bordeaux!

This tour surprised me because I did not know all we were tasting were pieces of desert!! For the cost $$$ of the tour this was ridiculous. The tour guide was just ok!! I did loved the Oysters, but my daughter had no meal since we found out the tour had no other choice but shrimp !! So for my $300 plus charge that is insane !

Response from the operator: Hello Awilda, I’m sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience on the tour. I’m a bit confused because when I checked with Kate, she mentioned you told her you really enjoyed the tour and would leave a positive review. Regarding dietary restrictions, you indicated at the time of your booking that there were none, which is why oysters and shrimp were included in the menu for that day. The tour featured a variety of tastings, including olives, cheese, aged ham with cheese, chocolates, and unique Bordeaux pastries. At Bonner Travel, customer satisfaction is very important to us. Therefore, I have issued a partial refund to your account. Best regards,

First time to Bordeaux

A wonderful way to see the beautiful city of Bordeaux and to learn about its history. Helen, our guide, was so knowledgeable and also gave us suggestions of places to see and restaurants to enjoy during our stay. We tasted amazing food along the tour…chocolates, fresh seafood, Iberian ham, and the delicious Canales of Bordeaux among others. Truly one of the best tours we have been on. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Bordeaux. Ann and Ed Gough

Response from the operator: Hello Ann, Thank you for your wonderful review! I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour. I've shared your feedback with Helen to brighten her day. Please visit our website, Bonner Travel, for information on other tours in Ireland. Regards, Frances

Amazing Food & Walking Tour through the Streets of Bordeaux

Fran was lovely and very knowledgeable about the city. Make sure to be hungry, we tasted sweet and savory snacks all along the way as well as meats and fish. Bordeaux has a contemporary vibe even though it is steeped with history…nice to see it through the eyes of someone who has a real connection to the city.

Response from the operator: Hello Amir, It was lovely to meet you and Christina and delighted you enjoyed the tour. Come back soon to do a tour in Ireland! Kind regards, Frances

Bordeaux Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bordeaux.

How much does Bordeaux Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bordeaux usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bordeaux Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bordeaux is not rushed.

Is Bordeaux Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bordeaux, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bordeaux Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bordeaux Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Bordeaux Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bordeaux can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bordeaux and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bordeaux Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bordeaux within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bordeaux?

+

On Outty we rank every Bordeaux experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Saint-Emilion Electric Bike Day Tour with Wine Tastings & Lunch, Saint-Émilion Afternoon Tour - 2 Grand crus & French apéritif, "Bordeaux by bicycle: a 3-hour tour immersive experience". The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bordeaux?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bordeaux?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
