    Great time

Had an amazing tour with Johana. She showed me so much In the town of Leyva. Very knowledgeable about the history. Recommend this tour. We'll worth the long drive to see the beautiful scenery

Nice driver. But 5.5 hours getting there with stops along the way left exactly 1 hour in Villa de Leyva. More than 4 hours to return to Bogotá. Definitely NOT worth it

Response from the operator: Hi, thanks for your comment. We understand "the frustration" of having so little time in Villa de Leyva. sometimes this is better than not knowing it, but yes, the journey is long, about 4 hours each (going and returning) and for that reason we have also designed the stops at the Puente de Boyacá and Raquira respectively. when you arrive in villa de Leyva you want to stay, it's nice, quiet, good weather, good restaurants and lots of activities. However, this tour is precise for round trip the same day and for that reason so little time in Villa de Leyva, we would like it to be much more but we need more day ;) Thanks for your comment, next time you need more time in Bogota!

    One of a kind tour

My amazing tour guide (Rodolfo) is the best; friendly and attentive to details. Simple and flexible booking experience and wisited sites were simply lovely! Also, very good pricing vs other operators but still top experience.

Response from the operator: Thanks Salma, you had very good times with Alex, Rodolfo, Pierre, Andres and Deissy who were aware of your experience in Bogotá. You saw a team of professionals, dedicated and focused on your experience. We left with 1 passenger and you had a private tour being a group one, how lucky! In addition, you experienced one of the best biosafety protocols in Colombia, because it is not only the certification but the commitment that our clients feel safe. We hope to help you in the future and count on these friends here in Colombia.

    ..

I had an excellent time with Alex to Villa de Leyva. I learned so much about Colombia on this tour. Alex was very professional. He always wore a mask and the bus was very clean. He drove us safely to Bogota and back. Gracias!

Response from the operator: Thanks for commenting, it has been hard but we know the importance of complying with the protocols, we even certify ourselves and we have the national and international certifications of good care for clients, drivers and society. Biosecurity 100% Welcome to colombia and bogota, thank you for allowing us to work in this beautiful industry of which we strive daily to show the best of our destinations and our people.

Bogota City Tour: Modern, Old Town, Street Food & Monserrate: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bogotá.

How much does Bogota City Tour: Modern, Old Town, Street Food & Monserrate cost?

    +

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bogotá usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bogota City Tour: Modern, Old Town, Street Food & Monserrate take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bogotá is not rushed.

Is Bogota City Tour: Modern, Old Town, Street Food & Monserrate worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bogotá, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bogota City Tour: Modern, Old Town, Street Food & Monserrate?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bogota City Tour: Modern, Old Town, Street Food & Monserrate suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bogota City Tour: Modern, Old Town, Street Food & Monserrate?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bogotá can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bogotá and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bogota City Tour: Modern, Old Town, Street Food & Monserrate start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bogotá within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bogotá?

    +

On Outty we rank every Bogotá experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Free Graffiti Walking Tour Every Day in Bogota, Bogota Zipaquira Salt Cathedral Private Tour + Lunch, Private City Tour Bogota + Monserrate, Gold, Botero and Candelaria.. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bogotá?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bogotá?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
