Fantastic Bike Tour
We had a great time with our guide Miguel! He went out of his way to show us so many beautiful sights in Bogota. We learned so much in just an afternoon!
via Viator
Not as advertised
The listing said this was a street art tour but we barely saw 5 pieces. It also said this would be 6 hours but it was barely 3. Miguel was a nice guide and he did his best, but this just wasn't what was advertised. Additionally at the point where we start, the sign says 52.000 pesos, which is about 14 dollars. Paying 40 for this on viator is a total rip off.
Response from the operator: Hi Anya, for this tour on the page you find that it is 5 hours if you include transportation, but with meeting point are between 3 and 4 hours, and the art show, include works of street art, La Candelaria, Plaza de San Diego and Plaza de Bolivar on bike plus architecture of the most recognized buildings in Bogota. On the subject of the price, it is different due to the inclusion of the guide for the tour and guidance. We are sorry you did not have the experience you were expecting but we are here for any questions you may have on any service or tour. - Impulse Travel Team

Very Enjoyable.
I booked this tour only one day before. I’ve done cycle tours in several cities and I really enjoy them. This place was really difficult to find. The Uber dropped me off close by and I paced up and down trying to find it. After twenty minutes of still not finding it, I sent a message to the tour operator. Then I tried again. I went into the building only to be told this wasn’t the place. The staff don’t speak very good English which is ironic when this trip is catered for tourists. So I left there and went on another walk to find the location. Google maps were not wrong, the building I entered surely was the place, the staff were just clueless. I asked to speak to the manager and he then said he’d phone his friend 😆😆😆. The friend turned out to be an employee of the company Miguel. The sign was hung on a hook outside the building but had not been there when I was trying to find the location. Either that or the wind had rotated it thus hiding the vital information? So while I waited for him, because I was early incase of hiccups, I sat in the restaurant. The manager asked if I wanted to order anything? Sure I said, do you have a menu I could understand? No was the reply, photo’s, recommendations? Still no, so I ordered coffee as you could point to that lol. Miguel turned up shortly after and immediately I felt at ease. What a really nice guy. Informative, friendly and very empathetic. We chose our bikes and set off on the tour. It was just the two of us. He knows every inch of the city and is very experienced. He’s a credit to the company. He even told me how coffee is produced and manufactured. He is a proud patriotic Colombian and this is exactly what you need on a tour like this. A full five hours we spent seeing the highlights of the city. We started out as strangers and by the end of the tour we were friends. Highly recommended and five stars. 🌟💯💯💯🙏🏽🇨🇴🚲

I would think about it twice , bike sucked
The guide was good , the coffee amazing the bike sucked !!! It was hard to pedal and keep up despite my efforts stopping for one of the street mechanics . If you are going to run a place that makes the money out of bikes I would assume the bikes would be In a good shape ! I was frustrated and very mad about it. And also when I got to the address “they had close called the cel phone in a restaurant nearby and no answer . Would not recommend unless they get better bikes
Response from the operator: This is very unfortunate, from the 5+ years we have been working with this provider, we have never had a complaint about the condition of the bikes. I will let the provider know about your comment so that we are always providing the best service. Cheers

+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bogotá is not rushed.
Is Bogotá Bike Tour with street art worth it?
+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bogotá can sell out a month out. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bogotá?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bogotá?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
