    Disappointment.

We were at our meeting spot and our tour guide never showed up. Super disappointing because it was for my birthday. They never called or responded to my calls. Wouldn’t recommend it. Trying to get my money back from TripAdvisor.

    There was lots of food....

There was lots of food. Take leftovers whenever possible or you might be uncomfortably full or not able to sample everything.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the Savor & Sip Foodie Walk and appreciated the abundance of tastings along the way, Jerry. We often tell guests to come hungry, but your advice is a good one! One of our goals is to introduce guests to a variety of Boise's incredible restaurants and flavors, and our partners are incredibly generous with the portions they provide. Taking leftovers when available is a great way to ensure you can enjoy every stop without missing a bite. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back for another delicious adventure soon!

Discovering Boise's Surprising Dining Scene and A Great Introduction to the City

We had an excellent tour with Indulge Boise Food Tours and our guide, Stephanie. You may be surprised, but Boise has quite a restaurant scene for foodies! While the city may lack a defining food genre (other than potatoes and Basque cuisine), the tour's restaurants and food/drink choices showed a creativity among local chefs (and yes, potatoes and Basque food snuck onto our menu). Our tour included four distinct stops, and while several restaurant choices might be on most popular Boise lists, others uneearthed options we wouldn't have otherwise discovered. When visiting Boise, consider booking this or any of Indulge's various food tour options on Day One of your visit. It's a great way to sample local restaurants, and revisit your favorites again later during your stay (that's what we did!). While the tour was "all about the food", our guide provided plenty of Boise/Idaho history, culture, and geography elements throughout, further boosting the value of making this food tour a high priority booking when visiting Boise.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this thoughtful and detailed review! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that you had such a great experience on the Savor & Sip Foodie Walk with Stephanie. She’s a gem, and we're glad her mix of storytelling, history, and culinary curation made your introduction to Boise so memorable. We love that you picked up on one of our favorite things about this city—its quietly bold and creative food scene. From inventive twists on local ingredients (yes, we have to sneak in the potatoes!) to unexpected hidden gems, Boise truly has something special to offer. We're so glad you made the most of your visit by exploring new spots during the tour and then circling back to your favorites—our dream itinerary! Thanks again for recommending Indulge Boise to future visitors. We hope to welcome you on another delicious adventure the next time you're in town!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Boise.

How much does BoDo Savor & Sip Foodie Walk Along the Boise Greenbelt cost?

    +

Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Boise usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does BoDo Savor & Sip Foodie Walk Along the Boise Greenbelt take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Boise is not rushed.

Is BoDo Savor & Sip Foodie Walk Along the Boise Greenbelt worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Boise, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule BoDo Savor & Sip Foodie Walk Along the Boise Greenbelt?

Is BoDo Savor & Sip Foodie Walk Along the Boise Greenbelt suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book BoDo Savor & Sip Foodie Walk Along the Boise Greenbelt?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Boise can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Boise and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

What are the best things to do in Boise?

    +

Boise, ID packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Boise by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Boise experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1/2 Day Whitewater Rafting Trip near Boise, ID, Culinary and Cultural Tour of Boise, A Macabre History of Boise Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Boise?

    +

Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Boise, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Boise?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
