    Decent boat day with family

Contacted various companies 2-3 months before the date. Only one got back to me. Glad they did. The young captain was helpful and calm. We toured the island and nothing was too much to ask. Highly recommend

    Best day of our vacation

Our family spent the day on Tony’s boat touring the Capri route. Tony was welcoming and knowledgeable and created a day of fun for all. We all loved swimming and going through the green grotto. This was the best day of our vacation. Next time we will do the Amalfi Coast route! Bassa Marea arranged transport to and from our hotels making the whole outing very easy on us. Thank you!!!

We had an incredible Skipper-Luca. Our day on the water was absolutely beautiful. Can’t say enough great things about the tour, Capri, swimming, and boating. Highly recommend booking with Bassa Marea.

Our boat tour to Capri with Bassa Marea exceeded every expectation and was truly one of the best experiences of our vacation. A special thank you to Lucas, our skipper, who made the day unforgettable. He was professional, experienced, and incredibly friendly. He navigated the coastline with confidence, took us to breathtaking locations, shared interesting facts about Capri, and made sure everyone felt comfortable, safe, and had an amazing time. His positive attitude and passion for what he does made the tour even more enjoyable. We would also like to sincerely thank Noemi and Manuela. From the moment we booked, they were welcoming, attentive, and exceptionally helpful. Their kindness, professionalism, and outstanding customer service made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. They truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. If you’re visiting the Amalfi Coast or Capri, I highly recommend Bassa Marea. The combination of exceptional service, a beautiful boat, stunning scenery, and an outstanding team made this a five-star experience from start to finish. Thank you, Lucas, Noemi, and Manuela, for creating memories that will last a lifetime. We look forward to sailing with you again!

    10/10

The private boat tour to Capri was the highlight of our trip. We were supposed to rent a shared boat but our host recommended the private boat tour and we are so glad we chose this alternative! A driver picked us up at our airbnb, which was very smooth. The boat was luxurious and had a big sun deck, toilet, shower, snorkling equipment and drinks (included!). Our skipper Luca was friendly and took us to see the white grotto, the green grotto and several other caves and landmarks. He even recommended a restaurant on Capri. We chose not to visit the blue grotto (it would have meant an hour of waiting) and instead we went snorkling in two different places. This is absolutely something I would recommend, you won't regret booking this tour!!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this kind review! We hope to see you again to offer you another wonderful day on board our luxury boats. Our team will be happy to assist you again! Thank you again, Bassa Marea Boat Charter

Boat tour in Capri: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Positano.

How much does Boat tour in Capri cost?

    +

Prices start at $1500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Positano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Boat tour in Capri take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Positano is not rushed.

Is Boat tour in Capri worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Positano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Boat tour in Capri?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Boat tour in Capri suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Boat tour in Capri?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Positano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Positano and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Boat tour in Capri start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Positano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Positano?

    +

On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Positano?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Positano?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
