Sorrento positano amalfi
Group of 6 booked pick up at hotel and boat to amalfi and positano from sorrento. I have never been on a boat trip before but best way to see amalfi coast. Guide/captain was great knew all about area, drinks included with home made limoncello to finish. Stopped twice to swim in sea with woggles if you need them. Highly recommend 👌 best day worth the money

Very disappointed. We didn’t get to participate.
We were very disappointed since we weren’t able to participate. We were told to take the local train to the meeting point. We weren’t able to board the train due to it being overcrowded. We were told by the company that we could meet them at the next stop in amalfi but that would have involved an expensive taxi ride and we possibly would have missed them there as well. We decided to pay for another tour on another day.
Response from the operator: Good morning thanks for sharing your feedback, we can see that the staff tried also to help you to reach the port for departure, and even after you were not able to reach the meeting point by your own methods, they also proposed you alternative ways to join the tour, so we are very happy for the work the have done. Unfortunately, the staff is not able to fix that you booked an experience departing at 8am while you were at 60km distance without any car for reaching the place, so then is bit disappointing to get 1 star just for your very bad organization, the tour was wonderful and clients were very happy that day, sadly your sits were empty all day surely because trains were full and taxis were expensive.

Is Boat tour to Positano, Amalfi and optional Emerald grotto worth it?
+

That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Boat tour to Positano, Amalfi and optional Emerald grotto suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Boat tour to Positano, Amalfi and optional Emerald grotto?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
