    About this experience

A ride made by bikers, for bikers. We roll out from Marina del Este and cruise the old N-340 to Maro, skirting the Maro–Cerro Gordo cliffs—flowing bends, cracking viewpoints over the Med, and smooth tarmac that’s tailor-made for a BMW GS. From the coast we climb to the whitewashed gems of Frigiliana, Torrox and Cómpeta, linking class mountain roads before dropping down via Caleta de Vélez and Mezquitilla, then following the national road back to the harbour. It’s a proper blend of sea and sierras, culture and easygoing riding, with unhurried stops for photos and a good brew in spots with real character. BMW GS: comfy, planted and responsive in every bend. Local rider-guide: pace that suits you and the best “locals’” roads. Signature loop: epic coastline plus Axarquía’s white villages in one go. Thoughtful stops: viewpoints, photo ops and proper coffee—no clock-watching. Safety-first: pre-ride briefing, essential kit and clear comms on the road.

    Relaxing and fun day

Really good sail boat trip! Friendly and accommodating, first time I tried paddle boarding and it was so fun, would recommend 😊

Could have been so much more.

We paid €59 each and were promised a 3 hour sail boat trip with snorkelling, tapas, drinks. After paying we were informs the sail boat had been broken for some time but to turn up anyway. We ended up on a lovely power cruiser. Then: No welcome, literally not a word. No idea what we were doing or where we were going. Skipper Spoke no English and was on his own with 7 guests Told to sit in the indoor lounge which soon became unbearably hot so we all ventured out. We motored for c15 mins then anchored just round the corner in the middle of Herradura bay, deep water so nothing to see and quite a swell. Paddle boards came out on request and were not fully inflated. There we sat for 2 hours. We had a beer and some very sweaty tortilla then motored back. A very underwhelming trip that could have been so much more.

Amazing experience - team went above and beyond! 10/10 recommend

We had the 3 hour sailboat ride booked for a bachelorette party - and it was honestly the best day ever! We had three fantastic hours of dancing and drinking and celebrating on the boat. Juan Maria and his team were so kind and accommodating - when we drank up all on the booze on the boat, they brought more out to us! They let us stick around on the boat for a little while after we finished the charter to enjoy the sun and have more drinks and pizza. It was absolutely so kind and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time! Absolutely recommend Alboran charters to everyone and will definitely be back!

    Amazing service!

We had the best boat day we could wish for! We organized a bachelorette trip for our friend on the boat and had a beautiful day out. Jose Maria, Jose Miguel and Alberto made sure we always had a drink in hand and they even brought us pizzas at the end of the day. I can't recommend this company enough!

    Amazing boat trip, suprise dolphins!

We booked the 3 hour sailing trip last minute and we were pleasantly surprised. The boat was exactly if not better than the photos that were shown to us via text. Once arrived we were greeted by our captain, George (sail Grenada.com) and from there we were taken to our boat. Would recommend going in September as it’s not too hot (around 25-28 degrees), water is still warm and very clear. We were very lucky and swam with fishes and even got to see some dolphins! Refreshments and snacks (Coke, Beer chips, the normal stuff ) were provided onboard. Also snorkels and paddle boards. We was ask lucky to have the boat to ourselves but the boat can easily handle up to 10 without it feeling claustrophobic Great Experience. Would recommend get a group together and doing this Experience!

BMW Motorbike Tour through La Axarquía: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.

How much does BMW Motorbike Tour through La Axarquía cost?

    +

Prices start at $255 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does BMW Motorbike Tour through La Axarquía take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.

Is BMW Motorbike Tour through La Axarquía worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule BMW Motorbike Tour through La Axarquía?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is BMW Motorbike Tour through La Axarquía suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book BMW Motorbike Tour through La Axarquía?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does BMW Motorbike Tour through La Axarquía start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Malaga?

    +

On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Malaga?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Malaga?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
