Blue Lagoon, Trogir & Underwater Museum Half Day Tour from Split

Didn't get the full experience!

First I would like to say that the young man that drove the boat was nice. Otherwise the experience was ok. From the itinerary you are suppose to stay at each location for an hour to an hour and a half. We did not. The first stop we stayed 45 minutes to explore the city. The second stop which included the underwater museum we stayed for 30 minutes. We barely had time to walk over to the place to snorkel for 20 minutes and walk back to the boat. You had to rent your own snorkel gear. We then went to the last place and we stayed for 25 minutes and had to get back on the boat to head back. Not worth the money and we did not get the experience what we paid for. I definitely don't recommend. They also tried to charge us twice for the underwater museum but I had to show them on my app that we did pay for it. You also travel via a 8 person small boat so the ride is rough.

One of the Most Unique Experiences of Our Trip

The Blue Lagoon, Trogir & Underwater Museum tour was an absolutely fantastic way to experience the Croatian coast and easily one of the most unique excursions of our trip. The combination of beautiful scenery, history, swimming, and something completely unexpected made for a perfect half day. The underwater museum was the highlight for us. Swimming above the submerged Stations of the Cross, with dozens of life-size figures beneath the water, was unlike anything we had experienced before. Seeing the enormous underwater statue of Jesus and the sunken military plane made the experience even more fascinating. It is one of those places that photographs cannot quite capture—you really have to experience it from the water. The Blue Lagoon was gorgeous, with wonderfully clear Adriatic water and plenty of time to swim and simply enjoy the surroundings. Trogir provided a completely different experience, with its beautiful historic streets, stone buildings, waterfront, and centuries of history. We loved that the tour offered such a great mix rather than spending the entire day doing one thing. The pacing was excellent, and traveling between the stops by boat was part of the fun. Seeing this part of Croatia from the water gives you an entirely different appreciation for just how beautiful the Dalmatian coast is. If you are visiting Split and want an excursion that combines swimming, scenery, history, and a truly unusual experience, I highly recommend this tour. The underwater museum alone makes it memorable, but the Blue Lagoon and Trogir make it a wonderfully complete Croatian experience.

Great experience overall

Be sure to check the specifics of your tour with the boat driver before leaving, there was some confusion initially. Our guide was very nice and we had a great experience overall. Bring drinks and snacks because they only provide water. The blue lagoon was our favorite. The underwater museum was a lot of swimming and more work than we expected but cool.

Avoid this tourist trap

Me and my partner booked this experience to swim in the blue lagoon and see the amazing underwater museum! Unfortunately due to weather conditions we wouldn't be able to visit the underwater museum. Only to later find out that it hadn't event been built yet!! It is not permanent and the statues do not remain underwater. They are placed there for the seasonal period and as a tourist hotspot. This really upset and both me and my husband as it was incredibly misleading. However, the only positive was that the tour guide gave us a refund.

Neither we nor any other operator from Split can influence weather conditions at sea or the possibility of reaching certain locations safely. If weather conditions are unsuitable for operating or accessing a location safely, we of course cannot proceed as originally planned and therefore offer either an alternative date, route adjustment, or a refund. The museum is an underwater art installation that guests can explore while snorkeling or diving. Like many similar seasonal attractions and underwater museums around the world, it operates primarily during the summer season and is an interesting attraction for both locals and tourists. It is not a cultural attraction, it is simply a nice place to see. Calling it misleading or a “tourist trap” simply because it is seasonal and not always accessible is unfair, especially as many attractions and activities in Split function only seasonally due to weather and sea conditions. We communicated this situation clearly with you as soon as we got the info and offered an alternative location on Šolta since the original area (Museum) was not safely reachable due to weather and setup conditions. Our team genuinely did their best to still provide you with an enjoyable experience despite circumstances we could not control. Please also note that, although cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, we still provided you with a refund in good faith. Please, don't take this answer the wrong way but we simply have to explain ourselves. We are truly sorry that you left disappointed, but this situation was unfortunately a force majeure circumstance completely outside of our control. We hope you still had a nice time in Split and maybe we get to host you some other time. :)

The trip was incredible; the boat was great, and the crew, Lana and Luka, were very attentive and helpful. 200% recommended.
