Best Tour Guide/Driver EVER- experience of a lifetime!!!
Carl was the best guide!!!!!!!! We just booked him for transport from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios and we loved him so much- we just booked him every day we were in Ocho Rios. Our first tour was to the Blue Hole and then we tacked on river tubing. Carl is so outgoing, friendly, personable and professional! He gave us so many helpful tips and organized everything with knowledgeable guides. He really is the nicest guy- our whole entire family LOVED him. Great conversation about Jamaican culture, food, politics, slang, spirituality—-learned so much from him!! The tour itself was a highlight for my kids (19 year old, 17 year old, 11 year old and my husband and I)! They loved jumping into the refreshing water at each spot- there’s so many jump off spots from beginner to advanced. They guided us through and took pictures of our entire family. What’s really cool too- is that when you book with Carl you get the unfiltered experience. While all the big groups are rushed through- you can totally take your time for the same price, also we went to an area of the blue hole where none of the big tour groups went - we all got to swim under a a mini cave in the water and we had it all to ourselves!!! Afterwards he had the river tubing all set up, which was super relaxing and you tube all the way to the beach- incredible!!!! Our guide here led us the whole way down- he stopped somewhere where we got to jump in and wade in the water. There’s several places to stop and grab a drink too if you’d like. The end is incredible- it just opens up to a beach and it feels like you are in a movie. We were so wiped out after the tour (in a good way)- my family had so much fun! The kids will be talking about this forever!!! Besides the excursion, Carl’s passenger van was the cleanest van I’ve ever been in!! No joke here. He takes impeccable care of it ( our feet were a bit dirty from the first excursion…he led us to the next excursion…and when we’re done with that- we return to a swept out van). He is very organized and takes such good care of you! Don’t book with anyone else!!!
