What you'll see and do
One of the most unique natural phenomena in the world, the Blue Cave will be a highlight of your holiday. With its silvery-blue color, created by light refraction of sunlight entering through a crack in the stone, it leaves nobody indifferent. It wasn’t until recently that the cave was open for public and it has been a must-see location ever since its opening. Travelers will have some free time on island Biševo and then they will go inside the cave with the small boats (not included in the price)

Komiža lies on the sunny side of the Island Vis and is well sheltered from cold northerly winds, in the bottom of the largest bay on the island and compacted within narrow alleys and slender houses. It is a famous place for its fishermen on the Adriatic and perhaps even on the Pacific. Komiža faces south-west, towards the open sea and its horizon is limited by two islands – Biševo and Svetac.Travelers have free time to explore, swim, have a breakfast, coffee etc.

Budikovac Island
Just around the corner of Vis, island Budikovac is situated. The Budikovac beach is better known as the Blue Lagoon, thanks to the crystal clear sea. The sea bottom is covered partly with sea grass and partly with sand and shells, which makes it perfect for sunlight to reflect the many shades of blue. Also, it is not very deep, which makes it perfect for swimming and snorkelling. We provide you the equipment for that, so your only care is to grab a mask and dive into the shades from navy to turquoise blue, accompanied by small fishes. In the high season if Blue lagoon is too crowded we will provide swimming in secluded bay on island Vis.

Stiniva Cove
Stiniva is small and tight bay on the island of Vis. It’s one of the most attractive places in Croatia because of its unusual beach. The bay is approximately 600m long, and the width of the bay is 100m. Stiniva bay is famous because it’s surrounded by high cliffs. If its not too crowded travelers will have free time for swimming, if its too crowded, we will stop for swimming at the more peaceful bay.

Pakleni Islands
Pakleni islands are located off the southwest coast of the island of Hvar, Croatia, opposite the entrance to the Hvar (city) harbour. Usual local name is Škoji, which means Islands.
Pass by without stopping
Our last, but not the least jewel in this trip is island of Hvar, on which we are visiting town of Hvar. The sunniest town in entire Croatia, with about 2700 sun hours a year, is also the biggest town on the island and a popular destination for various types of tourists. It connects the best of the past and present. There you can spend time walking around the old town area, having some ice cream, just to soak the rich historical heritage that finds its roots in ancient Greece and Rome. On the other side, it is also popular as a party destination with quality photogenic bars and cocktails on every corner all day round. And if those intense sun hours make you want to take a dip again, the beaches are also near the old town area! That’s why people can never get bored or get enough of Hvar.

Beautiful day with great service
Great experience, really worth it. We had a great tour guide (Elena) and skipper (Josip). We really enjoyed our day, with opportunities to swim, see the great sights and enjoy the speedboat ride as well.

Great family day out!
Great day out for our family and at 10 Hours, a full day! Nice people, friendly crew and stunning scenery. Great to see other islands and towns and very well organised, especially the Blue Cave where we didn’t have to wait at all. The restaurant recommendation was also excellent. We swam 4 times in different coves, visited two towns, saw the Blue Cave, saw Dolphins and an Octopus and the captain let our son drive the boat. All in all, a great day.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! 💙⛵️ We’re thrilled to hear that you and your family had such a memorable day with us! It sounds like you made the most of the full day — swimming in beautiful coves, exploring the islands and towns, visiting the Blue Cave, and even spotting dolphins and an octopus! 🐬🐙 We’re especially happy to hear that everything was well organised and that you didn’t have to wait at the Blue Cave. And we’re delighted your son enjoyed his special moment as captain! 😊⚓️ Thank you for choosing us and for your kind words about our crew and restaurant recommendation. It was a pleasure having your family on board, and we’d love to welcome you back again in the future! 🌊☀️

Full day blue cave and Hvar boat tour
We had an absolutely fantastic day on the boat and would highly recommend this tour! 🌊☀️ A huge thank you to Jelena and Captain Kazmir, who were both brilliant throughout the day — friendly, helpful and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The boat had snorkeling and float equipment and there’s a sun deck if you want to soak up the sun, as well as shaded seating if you prefer to stay out of it. The queue for the Blue Cave was just over 1.5 hours, which was unfortunately completely out of their control. We’d definitely suggest keeping your bag with you so you have drinks, sun cream and anything else you might need in case of a long wait. The cave itself is beautiful, although you are in and out quite quickly. I’m quite claustrophobic and was absolutely fine, so don’t let that put you off! Because of the wait at the Blue Cave, we had a little less time at some of the other stops, but there was still enough time to explore, grab some food or have a swim. The restaurant recommended to us was lovely too. Jelena even asked on the boat if we wanted a reservation, so when we arrived we were able to walk straight in. We really enjoyed the whole day from start to finish. The lady who booked the tour for us was also fantastic and so helpful. Thank you to everyone for an excellent full day out! We would highly recommend this tour and would happily do it again. 💙⛵️
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! 💙⛵️ We’re absolutely delighted to hear that you had such a fantastic day with us and that Jelena and Captain Kazmir helped make your experience so enjoyable. We really appreciate your understanding regarding the wait for the Blue Cave — unfortunately, the queues there can be unpredictable, but we’re glad you still had a wonderful time and enjoyed the other stops, swimming, exploring and the restaurant recommendation. 😊 It was a pleasure having you on board, and we’re especially happy to hear that you’d happily do it all again! We’d love to welcome you back for another unforgettable day at sea. 🌊☀️ Thank you once again for recommending us and for sharing your experience! 💙

Great experience
Nice and attentive staff, great tour. We did the same tour 10 years ago, sadly the green cave is not included anymore (just from outside) but still I would highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour again after 10 years and that our staff made you feel well taken care of. We’re sorry that the Green Cave experience has changed, but we truly appreciate your understanding and recommendation. We hope to welcome you back again in the future! 😊

Why this scores 84
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Blue Cave and Hvar Boat Tour: Small-Group from Split or Brac: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.
How much does Blue Cave and Hvar Boat Tour: Small-Group from Split or Brac cost?
+
Prices start at $165 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Blue Cave and Hvar Boat Tour: Small-Group from Split or Brac take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.
Is Blue Cave and Hvar Boat Tour: Small-Group from Split or Brac worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 545 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Blue Cave and Hvar Boat Tour: Small-Group from Split or Brac?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Blue Cave and Hvar Boat Tour: Small-Group from Split or Brac suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Blue Cave and Hvar Boat Tour: Small-Group from Split or Brac?
+
Around 191 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Blue Cave and Hvar Boat Tour: Small-Group from Split or Brac start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Split?
+
On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Split?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Split?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
