Blue Cave is UNESCO protected wonder of Adriatic sea, located on the small island of Biševo in vicinity of the island Vis. One of the wonders in Croatia, famous in the world for the miraculous light that gives stunning view reflecting from the bottom onto everything and everyone inside as a luminescing blue silver light. Out of this world place you will remember for life!

    2. Stiniva Cove

Stiniva bay is located on the island Vis. It’s unusual shape is due to two beautiful cliffs that "hug" this intimate bay and make it accessible only by boat. It is one of the most attractive beaches with blue-green water, named the top beach in Europe for 2016 by the Brussels-based Tourism Organization.

      60 minutes here

    3. Budikovac Island

Small island on the south-eastern side of the island of Vis, inhabited by only one person for majority of the year! Because of two little islands called “small Budikovac” and “Sanak” in front of Budikovac island there is a gorgeous lagoon, perfect place to dive in crystal clear sea. Very popular among non-swimmers as well, since just the plane nature of the island is perfect for a lovely walk.

      60 minutes here

    4. Hvar

Hvar is a city and a port on the island of Hvar, also known The Sunny Island hence it has the biggest amount of hours of sunlight in 365 days, in the whole Europe! But there is much more to Hvar then just sea and sun. It is one of the oldest cities in Croatia, rich with cultural monuments and charming small Roman alleys you will enjoy to discover, as well as have a drink on St. Stephan's square. One of fun facts, Hvar has the oldest teatar in Europe. Town loved by tourists from all over the world!

      120 minutes here

    5. Pakleni Islands

Pakleni islands are located off the southwest coast of the island of Hvar, very close to Hvar town. From up above they seem like a chain made out of more then 16 islands, almost 10 km long. They are blessed with lovely nature, blue lagoons, crystal-clear water and hidden beaches for us to explore! You can always take a break in some cool bars, that chill during the day and party in the night.

The best tour and the best guides in the world

First I have to thank my guides Fani and Bruno who respected each of the guests and who made that day and that trip unforgettable. When we first entered the boat, we were greeted by two "foreigners" and after just a few minutes they created a great atmosphere on the boat and then we got a brief briefing from the fani about where we were going and what to expect. The music they were playing was perfect. The trip, which lasts almost the entire day, passed in a flash thanks to the wonderful crew who was always smiling and full of jokes. And that's why I wish you all the best in the rest of your sesson, I also have to praise the cleanliness of the ship and the organization during the day. Bruno and Fani were very organized and professional in every aspect of the day. A tour is truly worth it when you have such a wonderful crew like Fani and Bruno, so thank you from the bottom of my heart for making that day unforgettable. 🩵🩵

Blue Cave & Five Islands Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.

How much does Blue Cave & Five Islands Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Blue Cave & Five Islands Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.

Is Blue Cave & Five Islands Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 137 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Blue Cave & Five Islands Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Blue Cave & Five Islands Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Blue Cave & Five Islands Tour?

    +

Around 48 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Blue Cave & Five Islands Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Split?

    +

On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Split?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Split?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
