Awesome Bike Tour of CDMX Craft Beer Scene

A great experience cycling through CDMX for half a day. Several stops to sample craft beers in the Roma and Hipódromo neighborhoods including Morenos Tasting Room, Pacheco Taproom, and Agrotaberna Monstruo de Agua. My guide, Ivan is an expert at navigating the city streets such that we arrived at each location with ease. The beers were great and cycling through CDMX was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Poráy and my guide Ivan. I fantastic day at a very reasonable cost!

Great beer and a cultural ride through CDMX

What an amazing day in CDMX with Gaby. We got to see the city on bike (and I got to see La Romita which I didn’t think I was going to have time to do). The breweries were excellent and Gaby was very knowledgeable about each of them. It was also obvious she had great relationships with each brewery which means a lot. In addition to her knowledge of the CDMX craft beer scene, she took us to a local taco stand that was amazing! Her knowledge of the city, Mexico and Mexican culture is incredible. It was not just great beer and tacos, but it was a bike ride through the culture of this incredible city.

Great time and great intro to the local craft beer scene

I really enjoyed my experience on the Mexican Craft Beer Bike Tour. As a longtime beer writer and homebrewer, nearly all of my travel includes some exploration of the local craft beer scene. Two things in particular elevated my experience on this tour. The first was my guide Gaby's knowledge and contagious enthusiasm for the Mexico City craft beer scene. Second, Gaby was friends with the proprietors at each of our stops so we were given VIP treatment throughout the afternoon. I should also mention that the biking was mostly on dedicated bike paths and quiet streets so it was pretty low stress.

Bikes, Bites & Beers Tasting Experience - Bike Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Bikes, Bites & Beers Tasting Experience - Bike Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $1800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bikes, Bites & Beers Tasting Experience - Bike Tour take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Bikes, Bites & Beers Tasting Experience - Bike Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bikes, Bites & Beers Tasting Experience - Bike Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bikes, Bites & Beers Tasting Experience - Bike Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Bikes, Bites & Beers Tasting Experience - Bike Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bikes, Bites & Beers Tasting Experience - Bike Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
