The route is 55 minutes by bicycle from the center of the City of Oaxaca to this town, knowing the importance that surrounds this place developed under pre-Hispanic and contemporary cultures. You will be guided by a local guide with realistic perspectives on the environment and nature. Excellent way to have fun outdoors during the morning or afternoon, without a doubt we try to increase the use of bicycles in this city to have a healthy lifestyle while having fun, socializing and getting to know unique natural landscapes that we cannot regularly see. with the car! Tule Tree
We will visit the widest tree in the world! We will leave from the City of Oaxaca by bicycle to the town of Santa María del Tule where this majestic cypress tree is more than 2 thousand years old! Riding on a safe cycle path, with a flat path and under the shade of trees, very well connected from the City of Oaxaca, in an approximate time of 55 minutes, taking breaks along the way. This town is dedicated to agriculture, it is very colorful and green due to its proximity to the water springs from the mountains with beautiful agricultural landscapes during the round trip. We will enter the park where this beautiful tree is located, the entrance price to the park is not included in the reservation price of the tour, each participant will pay their entrance fee to the park of $20 Mexican pesos.

During our visit to this beautiful town, we will have time to take a break at the Santa María del Tule Gastronomic Market since we will surely be hungry and thirsty after exercise! Here we will find delicious local food such as quesadillas, empanadas, champurrados and more Oaxacan dishes as well as juices, hot drinks and fresh waters such as the traditional tejate, orange water, lemon, horchata and hibiscus! This service is not included in the paid tour price, each participant will pay for their delicious breakfast separately!

This tour was a highlight...
This tour was a highlight from my trip to Oaxaca. Daniel was super friendly, informative and knowledgeable of the area. We had a great trip and even got to explore off the beaten path a bit. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in biking to the Tree of Tule. Mostly flat bike ride and guides know their way around!

Daniel was very easy to...
Daniel was very easy to communicate with and we ended up on a private tour. Met at his shop, got our bike and helmet and off we went. Riding in the city was a bit nerve wrecking but he did a great job making sure cars stopped and stayed on the bike lane. He even helped adjust the bikes midway. Once we got into the main trail, it was great. Made plenty of stops and enjoyed the view. When we got to the city, had plenty of time at the tree and even saw a quinceanera at the church. Then we checked out this food market and Daniel helped us order a great snack. He even introduced us to new things we would have never ordered. Highly recommend doing this. Got to see a different side of Oaxaca and checked off my gym for the day.

Fantastic bike tour to the Tule Tree
Daniel was absolutely amazing. He was very caring, talkative, and funny, and he speaks fluent English. He made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The bike ride through the city and out to the Tule Tree was a wonderful experience. Along the way, Daniel shared a lot of interesting stories about the history, the city, and his own experiences, which made the tour even more special. He is a very kind and knowledgeable guide, and we really enjoyed spending the day with him. Highly recommended for everyone visiting Oaxaca! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Go to Daniel first if you truly want to feel immersed in the local culture
This is an absolute gem of an experience. Daniel is an amazing guide, especially for travelers with limited Spanish- he explains everything in depth, with patience, and his English is excellent. He goes out of his way to make the adventure pleasant for everybody on his tour, and you will truly feel like a local rather than a tourist. I had the pleasure of taking a trip with him to the tree of Tule and it was so much fun, not to mention an informative dive into one of Mexico's deepest cultures. It was such a fantastic time that I accompanied him the next day to his hometown, Etla, and had the pleasure of touring his family's farm and watching an award-winning cheesemaker craft a very special Oaxacan cheese. I really hope that he is able to expand his tours to include even more cultural experiences that would bring knowledge and adventure to any traveler's Oaxacan voyage. If you're coming to visit, please consider Daniel first- he truly enjoys what he does, and you will too. Next time I visit I will definitely be looking forward to more adventures with his guidance. -Max

Amazing bike tour!
This bike experience was fabulous. Daniel, our guide, was very knowledgeable and so kind and patient with my husband and I and our friends. Not only was seeing the Tule tree truly amazing but the visit to the town and the Centro Gastronomico was so fun. On the way back, my friend felt light headed and Daniel went to get more water and Gatorade for her. He then called a taxi for her to take her back. Truly above and beyond. These are the kinds of experiences that are unforgettable and are made by people being both professional and caring. We cannot recommend this tour and Daniel's tour business enough!
