The most amazing cycling tour in Montenegro offers unique view of Kotor. Tour begin by car transfer uphill trough serpentine road which is built in 19th century by Austrians. It is settled bellow Lovcen mountain at 900 meters above sea level and there is born place of our greatest ruler Njegos the II. Beautiful scenery and a fantastic day

We had so much fun our tour with Ivana and her husband. We started at the zip line which we both used and whilst it was short, it was fun (Ivana encouraged me to go on and I probably wouldn’t have pushed myself out of my comfort zone otherwise!). The views were simply stunning and we also learnt a lot about the history of Montenegro which was very interesting. Suitable for any level of fitness and it is mainly downhill. Would recommend!

Response from the operator: Dear Charly, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave your impression! We had fun too! Best regards, Ivana

Great fun and amazing views on the Njeguši and Kotor serpentines

This bike tour was excellent from start to finish. Pick up in Kotor was well organised and the bikes provided were good quality and well maintained. The tour itself was great fun and not strenuous as it was essentially all downhill. Our guide for the tour, Ivana, was very helpful and provided lots of interesting information. She also took some great photos of the family which she then forwarded on to us. We made multiple stops to admire the fantastic views and photos of Kotor and Boka Bay. Overall a really enjoyable way to experience this amazing road with some of the best views of this beautiful part of Montenegro.

Response from the operator: Thanks for such a lovely review ☺️

A 900 meter descent with switchbacks, views, and smiles.

It was a remarkable downhill bike ride. There are multiple places to stop and take photos. Ivana, the guide, was a delight. While she is involved in mountain rescue, extreme sports like canyoneering, and more daunting tours like repelling, she was great with our small group which included an enjoyable German couple. Bring your smiles and have fun.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a great review ☺️

Not many can say they rode 22km downhill above Kotor

The views are amazing from up top. It looks intimidating at first but very doable. If you've never ridden a bike before, then maybe you try something less intimidating. The guides were great and take great care of you.

Response from the operator: Thanks for the shared experience. I hope you will remember Montenegro for its beautiful views. Best regards!

    A ‘must do’ !!

Milija was a fabulous host. He picked us up promptly from our hotel and prior to the pick-up was very communicative on what to expect for the day. The tour started at the top of the mountain with a stunning view of the Bay of Kotor. We cycled to a local cafe where we had a drink and Milija gave us a brief history of all the sights within our view. We then had fun traversing down the mountain back to our hotel. This tour is NOT difficult. If you are looking for an adrenaline cycle this is the not the right tour. It is perfect for average ability families to cycle together and to experience the beautiful views in a more entertaining way. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thanks for being my guests and thanks for such a informative comment. It was my real pleasure Kind regards.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kotor.

How much does Bike tour - Panoramic downhill from Njeguši and Kotor serpentines cost?

    +

Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kotor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bike tour - Panoramic downhill from Njeguši and Kotor serpentines take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kotor is not rushed.

Is Bike tour - Panoramic downhill from Njeguši and Kotor serpentines worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kotor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bike tour - Panoramic downhill from Njeguši and Kotor serpentines?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bike tour - Panoramic downhill from Njeguši and Kotor serpentines suitable for kids and families?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kotor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kotor and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Kotor?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kotor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Great Montenegro Tour-Lovcen NP,Mausoleum Lovcen,River of Crnojevic,Sveti Stefan, Kotor Bay Escape: Blue Cave, Beach & Swimming Time, Exclusive Blue Cave Kotor Swim, Mamula&Lady of the Rock 3 Hour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kotor?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kotor?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
