Ephesus with Elissávet
A wonderful tour of Ephesus with our very knowledgeable tour guide, Elissávet. Kusadasi came alive through her biblical commentary, and introductions to the local culture. We could not have had a better time!

The best experience in Ephesus
Our guide was superb, both delightful and entertaining.... with wonderful local, historical & religious commentary. Very enjoyable stops at the Turkish rug weavers, and the ceramic pottery family shop. And the luncheon at the Agora was quite good. We could not have had a better time, and felt that we truly enjoyed the culture of Ephesus!

Best tour with the best guide
★★★★★ Absolutely the Best Tour We Have Ever Taken! If I could give Gangas and this tour more than five stars, I would. What we thought would be a standard excursion turned into one of the most meaningful travel experiences of our lives. We accidentally booked a private tour, and from the moment Gangas greeted us at the port, we knew this day would be special. Gangas is an incredible guide. As a retired engineer, he has an amazing ability to explain history, archaeology, culture, and biblical significance in a way that is both fascinating and easy to understand. His knowledge of Ephesus is extraordinary, but what truly sets him apart is his genuine kindness and passion for sharing his country. He made us feel less like tourists and more like friends. Throughout the day he introduced us to local friends, shared authentic Turkish tea, traditional Turkish coffee, and an incredible local meal. We visited Ephesus, the Terrace Houses, the Basilica of St. John, and the Temple of Artemis, but we also experienced the warmth and hospitality of Türkiye in a way that most visitors never do. On a personal level, this tour meant even more to me. Gangas reminded me so much of my grandfather, whom we lost three years ago. His gentle demeanor, wisdom, and even the fact that he was a retired engineer made me feel an unexpected sense of comfort throughout the day. What started as a sightseeing tour became something deeply meaningful, and I will always be grateful for that gift. If you are considering a tour of Ephesus, don’t hesitate for a second. Book with Gangas. You won’t just learn about history, you’ll experience it through someone who truly loves sharing it. This was, without question, one of the highlights of our trip and a day we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Gangas, for your kindness, your friendship, and for giving us memories that will last forever. May God bless you and your family.

Excursion - BIBLICAL Ephesus & St. John Basilica / All INCLUSIVE with Lunch
The tour was quite impressive. The tour also included visits to a leather factory and to a rug factory. Ephesus was an excellent site to visit. The food was OK. Overall I would recommend this excursion.

Special private biblical tour in Ephesus
Excellent tour from every perspective, historical, cultural and talents. We got to see and understand what we were visiting, what happened there and when , and what happened next. The pace was good, especially being able to avoid the crowds of tourists all around but still being able to see things ourselves. The tour could not have been better.

BIBLICAL Ephesus & St. John Basilica / All INCLUSIVE with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kusadasi.
How much does BIBLICAL Ephesus & St. John Basilica / All INCLUSIVE with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $127 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kusadasi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does BIBLICAL Ephesus & St. John Basilica / All INCLUSIVE with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kusadasi is not rushed.
Is BIBLICAL Ephesus & St. John Basilica / All INCLUSIVE with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kusadasi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule BIBLICAL Ephesus & St. John Basilica / All INCLUSIVE with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is BIBLICAL Ephesus & St. John Basilica / All INCLUSIVE with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book BIBLICAL Ephesus & St. John Basilica / All INCLUSIVE with Lunch?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kusadasi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kusadasi and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does BIBLICAL Ephesus & St. John Basilica / All INCLUSIVE with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kusadasi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kusadasi?
+
On Outty we rank every Kusadasi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus & Virgin Mary Tour with ENTRY TICKET+LUNCH, Ephesus Temple of Artemis and House of Mary Private Half Day Tour, Ephesus and Temple of Artemis Private Tour from Kusadasi Port. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kusadasi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kusadasi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
