Day trip to Kazbegi / Rooms
Vaska did a great job as our guide. We enjoyed the magnificent scenery and lunch. You can see the Gergeti church from Rooms hotel, however there was a storm while we were at the hotel so we did not make it to the church itself. Vaska drove us very proficiently there and back to our hotel.
Response from the operator: Thanks Francis for your feedback. hope to see you again in Georgia

Stunning views and amazing guide.
This trip was the most memorable one. I see Georgia in a very different light. I saw its stunning views and historical sites. My guide Vaska was very friendly and really helpful. I highly recommend going in this trip, it’s a must to see the great Caucasus mountains. The lunch at the Rooms hotel was my favorite with breathtaking views, I couldn’t get over there beautiful views at every turn during this trip.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you soon in Georgia

Fantastic experience with a fantastic guide
This was a great experience with Vaska. He was extremely friendly and patient and I would highly recommend this trip especially including the hike to the frozen waterfall.

Disengaged guide / dangerous driver but amazing scenery
Although the itinerary was great and the sites are truly amazing, we were unable to enjoy this trip because of our guide. 1) He was slightly late, which he apologized for, but 2) his driving was dangerous and we ended up in a car crash on the Georgian Highway because he kept tailgating and had to slam on the brakes suddenly. We narrowly missed hitting the truck in front, but were rear-ended and had a mild whiplash. Even after the accident, he continued to drive in the same dangerous manner. 3) In addition, he skipped one of the stops (The Georgian-Russian Friendship Monument). He said we would see it on the way back, but he chose not to stop because he was fixated on the traffic (although we were well ahead of schedule, returning to Tbilisi by 6:00 pm). 4) He asked us if we could stop by his apartment so he could return the company vehicle, after which he drove us back to the hotel in his own car. Again, not a deal-breaker, but weird to ask us to do that after all the other things that happened.
Response from the operator: Dear Jon, We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced, We will make sure it never happens again to anyone booking our tour! Regarding the Friendship monument we were told that you refused to stop upon your will, it made me confused. Regarding the Motorcycle that crashed from behind, We believe its truly very unpleasant moment, but according to traffic laws hitting from behind is the fault of one who is behind, not taking a safety distance! later we analyzed the case and there is no fault of the driver. Nevertheless we will consider your review as a warning to make sure this never happens again! We wish you a good luck

Great day trip to Caucasus mountains and monasteries!
We had a fantastic day out with Otto. He was on time friendly and very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. At the Jvari monastery we were there just before it opened and it made such a difference. Could really enjoyed standing inside and hearing the wing around the building. The Caucasus mountains was amazing today. We could appreciate the scenery. The lunch at Rooms hotel is highly recommended and Otto made great choices for our lunch. The private tour definitely makes a difference on what one can see and experience in one day and I would highly recommend it.

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bestseller Day Trip to Kazbeg/Gergeti Delicious Lunch at Rooms: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tbilisi.
How much does Bestseller Day Trip to Kazbeg/Gergeti Delicious Lunch at Rooms cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tbilisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bestseller Day Trip to Kazbeg/Gergeti Delicious Lunch at Rooms take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tbilisi is not rushed.
Is Bestseller Day Trip to Kazbeg/Gergeti Delicious Lunch at Rooms worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tbilisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bestseller Day Trip to Kazbeg/Gergeti Delicious Lunch at Rooms?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bestseller Day Trip to Kazbeg/Gergeti Delicious Lunch at Rooms suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bestseller Day Trip to Kazbeg/Gergeti Delicious Lunch at Rooms?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tbilisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tbilisi and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bestseller Day Trip to Kazbeg/Gergeti Delicious Lunch at Rooms start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tbilisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tbilisi?
+
On Outty we rank every Tbilisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tbilisi:Evening Walking & Talking Tour with Wine & Boat Ride, Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset, Tbilisi:Mtskheta,Jvari,Bazaar, wine tasting,Chronicles of Georgia. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tbilisi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tbilisi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
