Very average
The service was good and pleasant. The food was bad to fair and no selection provided. The room is nice and seemed traditional. Expect to be in a tourist hub with what seemed to be hundreds of boats and thousands of people cramped at each activity. The tour starts at 12 noon and finishes 10:45 the next day (2 days?). Drinks are not included and expect to pay for water. YES Water which is silly because we would have spent more on alcohol .

Not great.
We paid 30 percent more than other passengers, the boat had aged and the cabin not airtight we froze. We were charged for a glass bottle of water that we dropped. 2 days before the date we were asked by whatsaap our passport and travel insurance....why not ask at the time of booking? We are rather disappointed.

Fabulous.
In Ha Long we made the Lily Cruise, we stayed in one of the exclusive cabins, very comfortable and decorated and with stunning views. The service of the staff is attentive, especially the guide Happy that because we do not speak English very well he always tried other ways to pass the information to us, and the food, excellent with Vietnamese and international dishes carefully prepared. Onboard activities such as kayaking and cave visits are well organized and balance adventure and rest. An elegant, relaxing and memorable tour.

It wasn’t a 5 star cruise as sold by Viator. The cruise staff themselves mentioned it’s a 3 star cruise. We felt cheated. I raised this with Viator but they didn’t help at all.
