Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist Monastery
Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist Monastery was built by Yayasan Giri Rakketo Maha Tera with the name of the foundation being taken from its founder Bhiku Giri Rakketo Maha Thera. The temple was built in 1970 by locals financing of Indonesian and also aids of Thailand government, and its consecrated in 1972. It has been damaged by earthquake in 1976. The new Stupa has been repaired and is decorated with splendidly colorful confection. The temple complex enjoys a wonderful hillside setting such as brilliant orange tile roof stand over an entrance gate guarded by fine two Naga, with bell tower in the corner of middle courtyard.

Banjar Hot Springs
Banjar Hot Spring sulphuric water is from volcanic origin and has an agreeable warm temperature, ideal for people suffering from rheumatic diseases. The best time to visit Banjar Hot Spring is in the morning when its still quiet in the pools, The centuries-old hot springs have been upgraded with modern facilities over time, and have become a favorite retreat and recreational site among locals and international visitors.

Tamblingan Lake
Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan is where nature has been kept almost untouched, both lakes are the life source for the surrounding communities. Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan located at altitudes of nearly 4000 feet, this is the heart of Bali farming area, with coffee plantations, vegetable fields and traditional rice paddies covering the nearby slopes. Lake Tamblingan is important in the religious life of the local villagers who earn their livelihoods by fishing, farming and ferrying tourists and the devout by dugout canoe to the 31 temples located near the lake. Very little is found about these two important lakes in most tourist literature. Tourism is just gaining a foothold in this very traditional area, with most visitors going to better known Lake Bratan a few miles to the east.

Banyumala Twin Waterfalls
Banyumala Waterfall is at the bottom of a valley with three sides of a waterfall and the biggest and highest are right in the middle, then smaller waterfalls are on the right and left. Right below the Banyumala Waterfall there is a pond that is formed naturally and this actually makes this waterfall very famous. With its very clear and calm water, you can feel safe to swim in it.

Ulun Danu Bratan
Set within the highlands of the mountainous Bedugul Regency in Bali, atop a plateau that sits on Lake Beratan, stands the majestic Ulun Danu Temple. In the mild, mountain weather, approximately 1,500 meters above sea level, the air is crisp and cool. The stunningly clear lake is calm and almost perfectly still, save for the soft breeze that occasionally sweeps across, creating tiny ripples upon its surface. A thin mist rises from the lake and hangs in the air, surrounding the temple, giving it a somewhat surreal appearance.

A full day of exploring the north of Bali Plenty of stops along the way, enthusiastic driver, waterfalls were a refreshing swim after a steep decent…..all round would recommend tour just check currency as we didn’t realise it was in US dollars

A great day
We had a great day! Hari went above and beyond for us. He was very friendly and told us a lot about Balinese culture. The waterfalls were the best part of the day. Absolutely jaw dropping, stunning! You can swim at the waterfall. If you go to the hotspring first, I recommend to not spend too long there as you might want more time at the waterfall. Thanks Hari!

The rain didn't stop me from having a lovely experience
I had the pleasure of having Hari as my guide for the whole day. He's incredibly kind and very smiling person with great English. We had so much fun, he showed me a lot of places and told me about balinese culture, history and traditions. The weather was not on our side, but Hari never stopped smiling. I recommend this trip and this driver 😊

Great day trip to see the sights of North Bali
Great day out with our friendly guide Raj, who catered to the needs of my friend and I. The drive up through the jungle was beautiful and thanks to Rajs recommendation of going early we missed the crowds(and heat) at the stunning temples.
