Short & Sweet Afternoon Tour
Having a short layover we felt fortunate to spend a few hours touring with our guide Sale and driver Rocky. They were well informed, open- hearted and introduced us to the many facets of Ethiopian culture and everyday life. A special mention to a quiet coffee ceremony in a local neighborhood.

The best guide in Addis Ababa — Truly a genius at his craft!
Exploring Addis Ababa with Mr. Achenef Asnake from Enat Tours was an absolute highlight of my time in Ethiopia! Achenef showed us the warmest, most genuine hospitality from start to finish. He brought us to visit the National Museum, showed us breathtaking skyline views of the capital, guided us through the bustling local Mercato market, and treated us to a wonderful traditional Ethiopian dinner. What makes Achenef truly exceptional is his remarkable language ability and communication skills—he speaks fluent English with a natural American accent, as well as German and Spanish! Beyond his impressive language skills, he is a fantastic listener, extremely easy to talk to, and genuinely loves engaging with his guests. He is easily the most talented and genuine tour guide I have ever met. If you are visiting Addis Ababa, booking with Enat Tours and Achenef is an absolute must!

The perfect introduction to Ethiopia's history and culture
We only had a limited amount of time in Ethiopia, but thanks to Enat Ethiopia Tours we were able to make the most of every moment, including an excellent city tour of Addis Ababa. The tour gave us a great introduction to Ethiopian history, culture, and daily life. Visiting the National Museum, learning about the country's rich heritage, and experiencing the religious gathering for Mother Mary at the Holy Trinity Cathedral helped us understand Ethiopia on a much deeper level. What impressed us most was the personal service provided by Asfaw (Pogba) and his team. From the moment he welcomed us at the airport, we felt completely taken care of. Both him and Ashu were always available, incredibly responsive, and even accommodated changes to our itinerary without any problems. Pogba was always friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. We never felt rushed and had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and learn more about Ethiopia. Our time in Addis Ababa was the perfect ending to an amazing honeymoon in Africa. We are so grateful to Enat Ethiopia Tours for creating such wonderful memories and would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Ethiopia!

We are so honored that you chose Enat Ethiopia Tours to craft the final chapter of your honeymoon in Africa. I am thrilled to hear that your city tour gave you such a meaningful introduction to our country's rich heritage—attending the Mother Mary gathering at Holy Trinity Cathedral and exploring the National Museum are truly special ways to experience the heart of Addis Ababa. I will be sure to pass along your high praise to our team ! He and the entire team take great pride in being flexible, attentive, and welcoming, so knowing that you felt completely taken care of from the moment you arrived at the airport means the world to us. Thank you again for your trust, your kind recommendation, and for letting us be a part of such a special celebration in your lives. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together, and we hope to welcome you back to Ethiopia for an anniversary trip in the future! Warmest congratulations and regards, Ashu

Best of Addis Ababa City Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Addis Ababa.
How much does Best of Addis Ababa City Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $97 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Addis Ababa usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best of Addis Ababa City Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Addis Ababa is not rushed.
Is Best of Addis Ababa City Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Addis Ababa, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Addis Ababa City Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Best of Addis Ababa City Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Best of Addis Ababa City Tour?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Addis Ababa can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Addis Ababa and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best of Addis Ababa City Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Addis Ababa within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Addis Ababa?
+
On Outty we rank every Addis Ababa experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Addis Ababa Authentic Private City Tour, Addis Ababa Guided City Tour With Airport & Hotel Pick Up, Full Day Tour of Addis Ababa with Hotel Pickup and Drop-off. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Addis Ababa?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Addis Ababa?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Best of Addis Ababa City Tour?
+

+
