After recharging our energies with the local families, we are going to start hiking the ancient Inca Trail that connects Chinchero village with the Sacred Valley. Our ancestors built this trail for religious and commercial porpuses. So for us this will be our journey to be more connected with Pachamama or mother nature. Along the way we are going to appreciate amazing views of green scenery, beautiful landscapes. After 45 minutes downhill hike we are going to reach the heart of Apu Antakillka (sacred mountain and protector of the inhabitants) finally we arrive to Poc Poc waterfalls, this place is considered very sacred by the local people, it is a sacred place where Pachamama or mother nature offer us the opportunity to recharge our energies and choose new directions for our lives. We are going to have special moments where we will be more connected with Pachamama through our Sacred offering with our coca leaves.

Good views and hike! John...
Good views and hike! John was our guide and was great! He was very knowledgeable and took care of us the whole way. The schedule was as described, we got to see how some of the locals make different textiles, do the hike, and stop for lunch on the way home. The hike is about 3 hours downhill, and it was helpful to have walking sticks (which were provided) if you find rocky terrain difficult. There was a combination of flat or rocky terrain, but a good portion of the hike is rocky, but not difficult.

5 Star Service
John, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. This is a family business and everyone was very friendly. We got to meet his wonderful family and they showed us how they make ponchos, scarfs, and clothing, from the very beginning, which is the spinning and dying of the wool to the weaving of it, which a table runner can take up to a month to weave, due to the intricacies of it. Such a wonderful and enlightening experience.

Is Best Inca Trail To Poc Poc Waterfalls From Cusco - Private Tour worth it?
+

How far in advance should I book Best Inca Trail To Poc Poc Waterfalls From Cusco - Private Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
