Pyramids Day-Tour

We had an excellent day exploring the pyramids. Our guide was great. He was highly professional and taught us a lot. We could not have been happier with him. We did feel slightly rushed at each of the stops. This was probably due to the number of sites and distance covered in the allotted time for the tour. We barely stopped at the Sphinx and only saw it from the road. We would recommend skipping the camel ride unless you really want to do it. Even though the itinerary lists a 30 minute camel ride, ours only lasted about five minutes. The camel handler was very uninterested, took some terrible pictures, and then asked for a big tip from each of us. In hindsight we wish we spent those few minutes elsewhere. We did take the time to go inside the Great Pyramid and the Red Pyramid and enjoyed both of them. The Red Pyramid especially takes some physical endurance maneuvering through the narrow passageway, but we felt like it added to the adventure. We do highly recommend this tour as a way to see the pyramids and learn a lot of history. However, if you want to have the time to wander around and thoroughly explore the sites, this might not be the best tour for you.

Amazing trip

This tour was amazing. We had the pleasure of having Fatima as our main tour guide, and Khalifa and Mahmood to accompany us in the evening of each day, all were great individuals. Fatima was great, always on time, very knowledgeable, friendly with a great sense of humor. She was very flexible and changed the itinerary per our request a little to accommodate the additional mosque we wanted to see in Cairo and additional time we wanted to spend in Bazar. We had great conversations along the way from one site to the other which made even long distance driving in traffic pleasant. The driver was extremely patient and skillfull with navigating the traffic. Khalifeh showed us a restaurant with really good Koshari (Egyptian traditional food) and Mahmood took us to a coffee shop near Nile for a pleasant tea and sweet at the end of a very long day sightseeing. Overal, highly recommend this tour and all the awesome guides.

Dream Experience w/ a great tour guide

This tour was amazing. Seeing the pyramids and getting to go inside was a dream come true. Ibrahim was our tour guide for the second time on our trip and we were so happy about that. He is the best guide we had while in Egypt. He explained so much history and while driving to Dahshur and Saqqara explained the modern life in Egyptian villages. He took so many great pictures for us as well. We ran a little over our time but he did not act rushed or bothered by this at all. The company uses WhatsApp for communication, which is common in Egypt, and they were great and timely. I definitely recommend this tour company and to ask for Ibrahim as your tour guide. He is friendly, funny, laid back, and seems genuinely passionate about his job. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic Tour by Ashraf & Tree of Life

The trip exceeded all of our expectations. We were picked up 8am sharp from our hotel and right from the start Ashraf made us feel welcome and very comfortable. We had our tour around the Pyramids, Sphinx (including a camel ride), Saqqara (Step Pyramid & Tombs) and then had lunch with Ashraf before being taken back to our hotel. The tour was perfect, and Ashraf is a genuinely fantastic tour guide and a brilliant person. I can't recommend Tree of Life Tours more, and if you're booking, try and ask for Ashraf Zakhary specifically, I promise you won't be disappointed!

Best Day-Tour to Pyramids of Giza Saqqara Memphis and Dahshur from Cairo: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.

How much does Best Day-Tour to Pyramids of Giza Saqqara Memphis and Dahshur from Cairo cost?

+

Prices start at $7 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Best Day-Tour to Pyramids of Giza Saqqara Memphis and Dahshur from Cairo take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.

Is Best Day-Tour to Pyramids of Giza Saqqara Memphis and Dahshur from Cairo worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Best Day-Tour to Pyramids of Giza Saqqara Memphis and Dahshur from Cairo?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Best Day-Tour to Pyramids of Giza Saqqara Memphis and Dahshur from Cairo suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Best Day-Tour to Pyramids of Giza Saqqara Memphis and Dahshur from Cairo?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Best Day-Tour to Pyramids of Giza Saqqara Memphis and Dahshur from Cairo start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Giza?

+

On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Giza?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Giza?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
