Chaotic!
Whilst our older lady guide Charlene was very charming, knowledgeable and her stories often quite witty, the tour itself was very chaotic. We were met at the cruise port and all was good. However, when we dismounted the buses, the guides asked us to form groups of twenty persons and the guides started to hand out the "whisperers ". They did not check or ask who had paid for the walking tour only as opposed to who had paid for a walking tour AND a canal ride. The result was 20 minutes of absolute chaos, until they finally realised what had happened, but seemed incapable of resolving. The result was being left without a whisperer and many dissatisfied cruise passengers. The walking tour when we finally got going was good, as was the canal cruise. Our guide also gave good recommendations including Pralinetta, with a nice garden for handmade chocolates and drinks. Bruge was beautiful, but we would recommend that you look for a more organised company to guide you around!

The situation was affected by your ship docking 40 minutes late while still requiring all participants to return on time. This reduced the available tour time and created some pressure at the beginning of the tour. Please note that waiting for guests beyond the scheduled tour start time was a gesture of goodwill on our part. If we continue receiving negative feedback despite going the extra mile for delayed guests, we may need to reconsider this practice in the future. As for the headsets, each guide always carries five extra sets just in case. However, our team can only assist when guests inform us about an issue or request assistance during the tour.
