Ubid Tirta Empul, Tegallaland rice terrace, coffee plantation, Tegenungan waterfall. Lunch at Mt. Batur

I've had a great day out there. What made it even better was the driver Wayan Suka! Excellent driver, very knowledgeable, he will give you an answers to whatever questions you have regarding their culture. He took me to one other place that I asked for and skip one that I wasn't so interested in. No waiting on lines for tickets. Great for solo travelers. Wayan don't mind taking your pictures, also he knows the best spots for pictures. I give him 5 stars and definitely will go with him again in another trip.

Ubud Tirta Empul Hot Spring Waterfall Private Tour

Kadek was not only a great driver, but also a great guide. We had a short holiday and wanted to spend a day sight seeing and this tour didn't disappoint. Even though we saw and experienced a lot, Kadek never made us feel rushed and encouraged us to ask questions. Highly recommended!

Great way to see a lot in one day

My partner and I had the most amazing day on this trip. With only 1 week in Bali, we wanted a tour that showcased a lot that Bali has to offer in one day, and this tour was perfect for that. We loved every activity but definite highlights for me were the panoramic views of the volcano at lunch, the monkey forest, and the coffee plantation (where we had expansive views of the surrounding fields and it was so peaceful as we had the place to ourselves unlike some of the larger ones that other tour companies go to on the main roads). Even between the activities, the drives were comfortable, scenic and insightful to the daily lives of people in this area. Our guide Ketut was fantastic and made the trip all the more enjoyable with his entertaining conversations and friendly manner. He was a very safe driver and also very accommodating to our requests. We were fully aware of this but just be mindful to take cash for most of the activities as these are additional to the tour cost, although ATMs are available along the way. Probably an extra 1,000,000 rupiah (approx $100AUD for a couple for the day). Noting it is a whole day and there is so much packed into this tour. Also be aware that morning and evening traffic will likely slow you down but this all just added to the experience of the day. Overall a really wonderful tour and definitely worth doing.

Besakih Mother Temple Tukad Cepung East Bali Private Guided Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.

How much does Besakih Mother Temple Tukad Cepung East Bali Private Guided Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $9 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Besakih Mother Temple Tukad Cepung East Bali Private Guided Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.

Is Besakih Mother Temple Tukad Cepung East Bali Private Guided Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Besakih Mother Temple Tukad Cepung East Bali Private Guided Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Besakih Mother Temple Tukad Cepung East Bali Private Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Besakih Mother Temple Tukad Cepung East Bali Private Guided Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Besakih Mother Temple Tukad Cepung East Bali Private Guided Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ubud?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ubud?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ubud?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
