Pack Up Your Troubles: Political & Murals Taxi Tour Join me on a personal journey through Belfast and hear the stories behind The Troubles. As a local guide who lived through the conflict, I’ll share my own experiences alongside the history of the people and communities who shaped our city. We’ll visit both Protestant and Catholic areas, seeing famous political murals, memorials, and the Peace Walls that still divide parts of Belfast today. Along the way, I’ll share some of the personal stories and memories that make these places so meaningful. I’ll tell you what life was really like during those difficult years, why more than 3,700 people lost their lives, and why the legacy of The Troubles still matters today. But this tour is about more than conflict. It’s also about peace, change, resilience, and hope. Come and see Belfast through the eyes of someone who lived it—not just as history, but as a story that is still part of our city today.

    Belfast passion

Paul was amazing. His knowledge & passion for his home town is incredible. While he drops the odd swear word, he does warn you that he doesn't pretend to be someone else. He called each of our group of four by their name & included everyone in the conversations.

Paul’s the best thing to do in Belfast!

We had an amazing time with Paul. He was generous with his time and his personal stories added to the tour. His ability to make the tour authentic was very meaningful and added to the experience. Best thing we did in Belfast and we can’t recommend Paul highly enough.

Absolutely THE Best Guide and THE Best Day!

Without a doubt, this was one of the very best tours we have ever had! From the moment I contacted Paul, to the follow-up after our tour, perfection! We had many things we wanted to see during our short time in Belfast and he made it ALL happen. Not only that, we were so grateful to learn the history of N. Ireland from someone who grew up during the time of turmoil. We have shared his stories and experiences over and over with friends. We cannot believe how fortunate we were to have Paul as our guide. We consider this day as one of our most memorable travel days ever ( that is saying a lot because we travel a lot!). We will return to Ireland and Paul will be our first call to have him guide us again!! Forever grateful!

    Legend!!!!

Paul is an incredible tour guide and genuinely so knowledgeable. Having experienced the Troubles himself makes him an even better guide, as he can give such a personal insight into everything. The tour really gives you a much better understanding of what life was like for the people who lived through and were affected by the troubles. Paul is also great craic and an incredible photographer/model/ legend! 😂 Thank you so much Paul!

Do yourself a favor and book with Paul the legendary guide

Paul is an absolute legend. I cannot imagine having a better experience. We did a custom 4 hour version of the 2 hour tour. Honestly, 4 hours flew by. We got to learn and experience SO much. Just such a great guide, timely, communicative, genuine, knowledgeable. Honestly, by the end there was no doubt I not only had a great tour and learned a lot but I made a new friend. Any way, book with my new friend Paul. You will not be disappointed. Hail Hail.
