Wonderful tour was well coordinated, low stress, VIP treatment
A great experience! Our tour guide Emily was wonderful and very knowledgeable. She made it extremely smooth and enjoyable even though we have someone with a nut allergy. It's a long day, but the whole experience is worth it to see this famous cultural site! Highly recommend - Clear directions on how to meet the drivers and guide. Very smooth process with Norah (coordinator) - Delicious Xi'an lunch with many options - Knowledgeable guide navigated us through the crowds with few lineups. We had time for quick local shopping and VR activity (extra admission) - Train tickets are included, which meant no stress
Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We're so glad your high‑speed rail day trip from Beijing to Xi'an was such a great experience. Emily's expertise and Norah's coordination made everything smooth, and all the details came together for a perfect day. We're proud to have been part of your journey – hope to see you again soon!

A full day of priceless memories
So lucky to have had Nancy as guide on this solo tour today. A little bit of initial confusion over my train tickets was quickly rectified and then everything was super organised with great communication from Corsen from the tour company throughout . Nancy was a wonderful and faultless guide . Excellent English , warm and highly knowledgeable. She made the very long day effortless and so memorable. The warriors are definitely a bucket list ‘must see’ . Such an impressive working dig/pit space and museum supporting it. The lunch of Biang Biang noodles was always going to be a highlight for me as well, so I was thrilled when Nancy found us a restaurant that made their noodles fresh, and that allowed me to watch their preparation. More priceless memories. So worth making the effort to travel to Xi’an from Beijing .. and do hope you get Nancy as your guide when you do !
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt and detailed review of your Xi'an tour! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that Nancy provided you with such exceptional guidance throughout your solo journey. Her excellent English, warm personality, and deep knowledge are qualities we truly value in our team, and we're delighted she made your long day feel effortless and memorable. We truly appreciate you recommending Nancy specifically and hope to welcome you back to Xi'an for more unforgettable adventures in the future!

Is Beijing to Xi'an Terracotta Warriors Day Trip with Bullet Train worth it?
+

How far in advance should I book Beijing to Xi'an Terracotta Warriors Day Trip with Bullet Train?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Beijing can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Beijing and add a light layer if any part of the 13-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Beijing within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Beijing?
+
On Outty we rank every Beijing experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mubus: Mutianyu Great Wall Bus Tour with Summer Palace Options, Beijing: Top 6 Highlights All Inclusive 2-Day Private Tour, Private Mutianyu Great Wall Trip With English-Speaking Driver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Beijing?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Beijing?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
