    • Public transportation options are available nearby
    • Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
    • Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
    • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
    • Our tour is a Wine Country tour with stops for tastings. We encourage all guests to be 21 and over, but can accommodate guests 14 and up with the understanding they will be along for a winery bike tour without the ability to taste. Guides are not responsible for entertaining teens/young adults while parents are tasting.
    • Please note: This is a wine-focused tour that includes visiting two wineries. Although wine tasting fees are not included upfront, there is an expectation that guests signing up for this tour will be participating in tastings. This tour is NOT a good choice for guests with limited interest in wine tasting.

    Fun time in Sonoma!

We had a wonderful experience on our Sonoma E-bike tour. The bikes were easy to use allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery and vineyards throughout the day. Our guide, Mike, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine, industry, the regions history, and wine making process. The pace was perfect, the vineyards and cheese maker we visited were a treat. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and fun way to explore Sonoma. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

    Perfect Sonoma Experience!

We loved this! It was our first experience with pedal-assisted bikes and we were pleasantly surprised—they were easy to operate and made the ride smooth and effortless. We appreciated that the route was almost entirely on bike paths or quiet residential streets rather than busy roads. The itinerary was well-planned and took us to spots we wouldn’t have found on our own, and covered more ground early in the day, allowing for a more relaxed pace after lunch and wine. Best of all, our guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable about local history and winemaking, kept us safe on the road, and was a lot of fun to spend the day with! We would heartily recommend this tour to anyone looking for an up-close way to enjoy beautiful Sonoma.

Behind-the-Scenes Food and Wine E-Bike Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Napa & Sonoma.

How much does Behind-the-Scenes Food and Wine E-Bike Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $179 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Napa & Sonoma usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Behind-the-Scenes Food and Wine E-Bike Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Napa & Sonoma is not rushed.

Is Behind-the-Scenes Food and Wine E-Bike Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 84 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Napa & Sonoma, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Behind-the-Scenes Food and Wine E-Bike Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Behind-the-Scenes Food and Wine E-Bike Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Behind-the-Scenes Food and Wine E-Bike Tour?

    +

Around 29 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Napa & Sonoma can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Napa & Sonoma and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Behind-the-Scenes Food and Wine E-Bike Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Napa & Sonoma within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Napa & Sonoma?

    +

Napa and Sonoma are all about how a tour is put together: which wineries it can actually book, how many stops, whether lunch and tasting fees are included, and whether it lifts off in a balloon at sunrise. We weight inclusions and transparency heavily in the ranking here. On Outty we rank every Napa & Sonoma experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Napa Valley Small Group Winery Tour, #1 Sonoma Walking Food, Wine Tasting & History Tour (Public Tour), Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Napa & Sonoma?

    +

March to May and September to November, with harvest crush in September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Napa & Sonoma?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
