Highly Recommend!
We went on the Providence mural and art gallery tour. Our guide Spencer was professional and friendly. He has a genuine passion for the visual arts and architecture. Although we are live long Rhode Island residents and fairly knowledgeable about RI history and culture we certainly picked up additional information. Spencer did this in am entertaining manner.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your thoughtful 5 Star review. We will be sure to let Spencer know you enjoyed the tour and his presentation. We hope you will try out one of our many other adventures and hope to see you again very soon!

Enrich your Providence visit and take the Muriel walking tour.
We saw Muriels that our guide was able to explain so much about and their artists. We saw the art work of employees of City Hall. We found it really interesting and nice to go inside City Halls beautiful building.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your 5 star review and for joining our tour. Our tour guide Spencer loves showing the history of Providence through the art. Please consider joining us again on another tour in the very near future.

Take a tour with Sharli
Sharli was our guide and she was very knowledgeable, helpful, fun, and a pleasure to spend our toms with. Viator could have been more specific about our meeting place. Like a land mark or cross street. Other than that it was a perfect tour. My husband I highly recommend you take a tour with Sharli.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind and thoughtful review. We are so pleased that you joined our tour and that your enjoyed Sharil. She's a gem! We will take your comment to heart about the meeting spot. We would love to host you again on one of our many other tours!

Providence AHA Mural Artwork (AHA art, history & architecture)
Our Becoming Providence experience was such a wonderful and culturally rich tour led by Gail S. She was helpful and strong communication skills from meeting for the tour to informative and engaging story telling about each artwork piece. She loves art, and is shares a lot of knowledge with enthusiasm in her tour. Will be looking to book another tour with her in September to bring more friends!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your 5 Star rating. Gail is a gem and we are so pleased you got to have her as your tour guide. Please consider one of our other tours in the future. We would love to welcome you back!

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Becoming Providence: Mural and Gallery Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Providence.
How much does Becoming Providence: Mural and Gallery Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Providence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Becoming Providence: Mural and Gallery Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Providence is not rushed.
Is Becoming Providence: Mural and Gallery Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 93 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Providence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Becoming Providence: Mural and Gallery Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Becoming Providence: Mural and Gallery Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Becoming Providence: Mural and Gallery Tour?
+
Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Providence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Providence and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Becoming Providence: Mural and Gallery Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Providence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Providence?
+
Providence runs Federal Hill food tours, gondola and river cruises, Brown and RISD campus walks, ghost tours through Benefit Street and WaterFire evenings in season. On Outty we rank every Providence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Haunted History Walking Tour of Providence, Crime and Cuisine on Federal Hill, Discover Providence Guided Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Providence?
+
May to October, with WaterFire lightings from May through November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Providence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
