I first went on a Calypso boat trip during a trip to Lindos last summer with three members of my family, and I enjoyed it so much that when I returned to Rhodes this year for my wedding with a group of 45 people, I knew I wanted to book Calypso again. I contacted the Calypso team about arranging a private hire for our group, and from start to finish the whole process was seamless. They were incredibly accommodating with our dietary requirements and special requests, and kept in regular contact with us in the lead-up to the trip, which gave us complete peace of mind. On the day itself, the staff were fantastic — friendly, welcoming and so accommodating. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and their wonderful attitude added so much to what was already a brilliant day. The boat was lovely, the swim stops were excellent, and the lunch was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect way for our group to spend a day together and something that so many of us will remember from our wedding trip. I would highly recommend Calypso to anyone looking for a boat trip in Lindos. Whether you’re travelling as a small group or, like us, arranging something for a much larger party, they made everything incredibly easy and enjoyable. We absolutely loved our day. Perfect Day Out

Brilliant day with the family. Got a private pickup from our hotel on the way there, and the private coach on the way back. All the stops were beautiful, with plenty of time to snorkel and jump off the boat at each stop. Lunch exceeded our expectations - big portion sizes and good flavours, which made the day excellent value for money. Staff were all friendly and attentive, and gave information about each stop when we arrived. Around 50 people on the boat, but not once did it feel overcrowded. Our group of 3 was able to have our own table to ourselves, with plenty of space to spread out all over the boat.

Oversold to the detriment of customer experience

Booked this trip hopeful after reading many good reviews but my experience doesn't reflect this. Firstly the trip is over sold to the detriment of customer experience. Unfortunately this in my opinion leads to certain groups of tourists becoming even more rude than I would otherwise expect. Pushing past people, stealing your space when you are in the water and even witnessed a group of French tourists who had picked the upper deck bean bag loungers as their desired spot to then try to steal an elderly gentleman's space he had been sitting in for the duration of the trip and seemed flabbergasted when told by staff to give it back. Adults and children taking 3 or 4 swim noodles each and leaving none for others. Would recommend booking a smaller group trip to save this debacle on what could and should of been a beautiful day trip. On the other hand the staff are very pleasant and courteous and should be praised for the service they provide.

Great boat trip

We had a great day in this day trip. Meeting point was easy to find, boat was spacious and comfortable with a bar where you had your first drip included. Swimming stops with equipment available on the boat and friendly crew. Lunch was good and substantial for a boat meal we were impressed and had a great day
