About this experience
Explore Barcelona on electric mountain bikes on an adventurous ride from the city center to the summit of Tibidabo. This is not a flat city cruise: it’s a more demanding, outdoor-focused tour designed for riders who feel confident on a bike and want a true climb with big rewards. You’ll pass Gaudí-related gems such as Casa Vicens and Torre Bellesguard, then leave the busiest avenues behind as the route turns uphill. As you ascend Tibidabo, the scenery shifts from lively neighborhoods to quieter green corridors and nature trails. Your e-mountain bike makes the climb smoother, but you’ll still need good bike-handling skills, steady control on varied terrain, and a reasonable fitness level. Take time for photos, breathe in the mountain air, and enjoy one of the best viewpoints in the city. This small-group experience is ideal for travelers who want a scenic, cultural, and adventurous e-bike tour beyond the usual routes.

Fantastic Views and Igor is a Gem!
Wow! This was an adventure we'll never forget! Our guide was Igor and he is an absolute treasure of Viator. This experience was harder than we expected but he was so pleasant and helpful that we were able to ride the bikes all the way up to Tibidabo Mountain where the views of Barcelona can't be beat. Igor was full of interesting facts, took us by several points of interest and let us stop along the way for photos. It was amazing! That being said, know that this experience is harder than what Viator notes. You must be in good physical shape and be prepared to ride bikes in traffic, around people, on a very steep incline, over gravel roads and for a few hours. Coming down from the mountain is as challenging as going up. But, if you're in good physical shape, it's absolutely an experience of a lifetime and we loved it! Thank you, Igor, for cheering us on, helping us out, and making our adventure something we'll talk about for a lobby time!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Julia! We’re happy you had such a memorable adventure with Igor — he really does love sharing the magic of Tibidabo and cheering riders on! It’s a challenging route, but so rewarding. If you're back in Barcelona, we’d love to see you on one of our other tours — maybe a flatter one next time! 😉🚴♀️⛰️

Barcelona to Tibidabo: Hidden Gems and Scenic views E-Bike Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Barcelona to Tibidabo: Hidden Gems and Scenic views E-Bike Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Barcelona to Tibidabo: Hidden Gems and Scenic views E-Bike Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Barcelona to Tibidabo: Hidden Gems and Scenic views E-Bike Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Barcelona to Tibidabo: Hidden Gems and Scenic views E-Bike Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Barcelona to Tibidabo: Hidden Gems and Scenic views E-Bike Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Barcelona to Tibidabo: Hidden Gems and Scenic views E-Bike Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Barcelona to Tibidabo: Hidden Gems and Scenic views E-Bike Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
