    What you'll see and do

    1. Port Olimpic

Standing opposite the Vila Olímpica neighbourhood, it was built in 1990 during the redevelopment of this area of Barcelona. The marina was designed by the architects Oriol Bohigas, Josep Martorell, David Mackay and Albert Puigdomènech. The city needed a sports marina which would meet exacting standards, and it was the site of the sailing competitions during the 1992 Olympic Games. The marina has 756 berths for yachts and its entrance is visible from anywhere in Barcelona. The two skyscrapers on either side are the Mapfre Tower and the Hotel Arts, with Frank Gehry's spectacular goldfish sculpture at its base, and nearby, the Gran Casino de Barcelona. Lovers of water sports can go yachting or practise other types of sailing techniques here, and in the summertime, the beaches on either side of the marina – Somorrostro and Nova Icària – are the perfect place for sunbathing or for a cooling dip in the sea.

    2. Gold Fish Sculpture (Escultura el Peix d'Or)

The Fish sculpture by the architect Frank Gehry, who won the Pritzker Prize in 1989, has become one of the symbols of post-Olympic Barcelona and looks as if it is bobbing along on the waters of the Mediterranean. The sunlight is reflected in the scales of this sculpture that presides over the waterfront of the Olympic Marina and Barcelona's beaches. In 1992, the pristine Olympic Barcelona was transforming its seafront. A new Olympic Marina was taking shape, presided over by its twin towers. On one side stood the Mapfre Tower; on the other was the Hotel Arts. Frank Gehry placed his fish sculpture at the foot of the hotel. The animal is 56 metres long and 35 metres high and seems to be longing to jump into the blue waters of the Mediterranean.

    3. Port Vell (Old Port)

Port Vell, literally in English "Old Harbor" is a waterfront harbor in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and part of the Port of Barcelona. It was built as part of an urban renewal program prior to the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Before this, it was a run-down area of empty warehouses, railroad yards, and factories. 16 million people visit the complex each year It is now a focal point of the city and tourist attraction, containing the Maremàgnum (a mall containing shops, a multiplex cinema, bars and restaurants), IMAX Port Vell and Europe's largest aquarium containing 8000 fish and 11 sharks contained in 22 basins filled with six million litres (1.6 million US gallons) of seawater. A pedestrian walkway, Rambla de Mar, connects La Rambla to Port Vell It incorporates a swing bridge, in order to allow ships to enter and exit the harbour

Truly magical sunset boat trip with great chat

Truly magical experience and everything it promised. Skipper was great and the ambience very quickly helped the 10 people on board connect - we enjoyed some great and really interesting conversation with folk from Chicago, Boston, Belgium and Scotland all on board. We had wine, we laughed and we learned. Beautiful sunset, even on a cloudy day, and Barcelona was stunning seen from the water. Highly recommend.

It was a perfect day. It...

It was a perfect day. It was relaxing and beautiful, and wonderful to get out on the water. Jumping off the back of the boat to swim was the best part! I would book again in a heartbeat.

Response from the operator: Dear Sarah, Thank you so much for your ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review. We’re delighted to hear that you had such an amazing experience on your sailing 🌊⛵ tour. It’s fabulous to know that your skipper made your trip so enjoyable with his expertise and passion for sailing, we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to him! Thank you for recommending us! We’d love to welcome you back on board anytime for another memorable adventure. Best regards from the entire Barcelona Sailing Day team!

    A little small

Boat was a little small. They had too many people on and we had to sit up front laying down on the bow. It was a nice day, nice couple hours.

Response from the operator: Dear Grant, Thank you for taking the time to share your review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the weather and had a nice time on the water. Our shared group tours are capped at 9 guests to stay strictly within the advertised capacity for our 38-foot yacht and ensure everyone has room to relax. So on your trip there were also 9 people on board. However, we completely understand that layout preferences vary, and some guests prefer more room. For a future trip with complete control over seating and extra space, we always recommend booking one of our private charter options. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back on board again soon!

Barcelona Shared Sensational Sunset Tour with Open Bar and Snacks: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Barcelona Shared Sensational Sunset Tour with Open Bar and Snacks cost?

    +

Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Barcelona Shared Sensational Sunset Tour with Open Bar and Snacks take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Barcelona Shared Sensational Sunset Tour with Open Bar and Snacks worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 917 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Barcelona Shared Sensational Sunset Tour with Open Bar and Snacks?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Barcelona Shared Sensational Sunset Tour with Open Bar and Snacks suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Barcelona Shared Sensational Sunset Tour with Open Bar and Snacks?

    +

Around 321 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Barcelona Shared Sensational Sunset Tour with Open Bar and Snacks start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

    +

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

    +

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
