    Barcelona Segway tour

Great tour with an amazing guide Pau. Very knowledgeable guide with a passion for Barcelona. Really nice guy with a great attitude. Pau is a tremendous guide. Time wise we could only do the hour tour but would definitely do a longer tour if we had more time. Great way to see parts of the city. Gracias Pau 👌🏼

    Beautiful day touring Barcelona

A fantastic tour. We saw the beautiful city of Barcelona. Our tour guides Nuno and Bilal were very professional. Bilal was helping me manage my segway while Nuno was giving us a history lesson ashe showed us the sights. My friends and I had an amazing time. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

Unhappy with care after an accident on Segway, left traumatised and helpless, diagnosed with sacral fracture

We booked the 1 hour tour initially on 13th April, we were a family of 3, me, husband and my son who is 19yrs. The brief to ride the Segway was hardly 5 mins, our guide was Ali. The first one hour was mainly again the Barcelona beach, which was very good and hence we decided to extend to another hour, we saw the Sagrada from outside and were heading to the next stop, a cyclist tried to over take me on the cycle pathway and I lost balance and fell off the Segway on the curb and hurt my bottom, on lookers came to help and one of them advised not to get back on the Segway. The guide had no advise or opinion. Unfortunately, I fainted on the Segway after 5 mins or so and fell again, the onlookers called emergency service not the guide, we took the advise from the emergency. Even after the second fall, the guide advised me that I should stand on the Segway and that he will pull me, I felt that he was very much against calling for help either to his office or for the ambulance. We decided as a family not to proceed with the tour, The guide was only focussing on getting the Segways back to the office, they wanted us to pay for the second hour as cash, so we had to get to their office. My husband and myself took a taxi to get to the office, the guide said he would drag the two Segways and he will drive his son, my son followed him on his Segway. We were later told my by son that the guide let him pull the second Segway as he could not manage to pull all the three. I have come back to the UK and I have been diagnosed with a sacral fracture and have been advised 4-6 weeks of rest, this has deeply impacted by mental and physical health, I do not want this to happen to anyone and hence writing this review. My main concerns: 1. The safety measures or protocols that followed after the fall are appaulling. 2. I felt the guide should have been more responsible and called for help from the office to get the Segways back to them and advised us to either get to the hospital or let us stop the tour halfway. 3. The guide let my son pull the second Segway, if my son would have had an accident or hurt someone, who would have taken the responsibility? 4. I later read the itinerary of your Two hour tour, Sagrada is not on it, so did the guide Ali take us on his own route and hence he was reluctant to call the office for help. 5. I would really like to make this a formal complaint and would appreciate some feedback from the company.

PERFECT SEGWAY TRIP - THANKS TO OUR GUIDE ALP!

We were on the last day of a two week trip. We wanted something fun and pleasant, without a lot of talking. Robot City and our guide Alp delivered perfectly. we have a younger family - they were patient to teach my youngest (age 11) and make sure we had experience before we went out. I wanted a relaxing, fun ride - and they delivered as requested. when we stopped for a couple of breaks, our guide Alp had some great knowledge about the detail of archeticture - and then we got back on our segways and went fast. Thanks to the Robot city team- our best euro for euro experience in Spain.

Barcelona Guided Panoramic Segway Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Barcelona Guided Panoramic Segway Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Barcelona Guided Panoramic Segway Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Barcelona Guided Panoramic Segway Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Barcelona Guided Panoramic Segway Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Barcelona Guided Panoramic Segway Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Barcelona Guided Panoramic Segway Tour?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Barcelona Guided Panoramic Segway Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

    +

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Girona & Dali Museum Small Group Tour with Pick-up from Barcelona. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

    +

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
