Rude people not reccomend

I got in touch with them and they were incredibly rude — honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The event itself was nothing special either, totally not worth it. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Response from the operator: How was the team rude ? It can happen that some of the staff have issue with English language but usually people don't have bad intention. Hope you could elaborate so that we could improve if need be. The event you were at I believe was a 420 Cruise we we only do a few times a year. Maybe it wasnt your vibe. Please check on our website if we have a special event : this week we do House and Disco Music.

Should be named “Bob Marley Smoke Boat Party”

The event was supposed to start at 6:00 PM, but by 8:00 PM we were still anchored and the boat hadn’t taken off. When I asked, they said departure would be at 8:30 PM. The overall vibe and setup were disappointing — the boat felt run-down, and the crowd wasn’t my type. There were tables openly selling marijuana, and almost everyone was smoking. The music started off okay with some techno, but later shifted to more of a reggae/Bob Marley vibe, which completely changed the atmosphere. I was expecting something more professional and energetic, with mainstream or techno music. Honestly, this should be advertised as a “Bob Marley Smoke Boat Party,” because that’s exactly what it was. Drinks are cheap and decent.

Response from the operator: Hi You are right that event was a 420 Cruise which we do maybe 2 times a year As you see the date was 19 April so yeah we had a special event. Please remember that Weed is legal in Thailand same as alcohol. So usually our music is more techno based and all but we can't do the same music every week end as most of our client are expats not tourists. Hope you had fun anyway

Good vibes

Such a fun place to hangout, having a great time there on the Chao Phraya. Definitely recommended to anyone checking out once, it can't go wrong.

Response from the operator: Thanks a lot for the kind review hope to see you on our boat again one day !

Bangkok's Boat Party Cruise: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.

How much does Bangkok's Boat Party Cruise cost?

+

Prices start at $900 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bangkok's Boat Party Cruise take?

+

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.

Is Bangkok's Boat Party Cruise worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 35 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bangkok's Boat Party Cruise?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Bangkok's Boat Party Cruise suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Bangkok's Boat Party Cruise?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bangkok's Boat Party Cruise start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bangkok?

+

On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bangkok?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bangkok?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
