What you'll see and do
The Grand Palace
The Grand Palace was constructed together with the founding of Bangkok in 1782 when King Rama 1 ascended to the throne and founded a new dynasty. The Grand Palace is very important as it used to be the palladium of the state. It was used for both the royal residence and the administrative center of the country in the government system of absolute monarchy. Today, the palace is used just for ceremonials. The architectural plan of this palace was almost identical in every detail to the Grand Palace of the former capital of Ayutthaya (about 600 years ago) because the King wanted to recreate the glory of the city as it was in the past. So it was completely first built in traditional Thai style. However, at various periods, the influences from other nations affect to the architecture in Thailand in different reigns such as the Chinese elements introduced by King Rama 3 in the early 19th century and the western building style introduced by King Rama 5 in the late 19th century.

Great first morning in Bangkok with Poppy!
We booked this tour for our first day in Bangkok and it was a great decision. Ken was friendly, kept everything moving smoothly, and showed us around the Grand Palace and the surrounding temples. It rained a little bit during the day, but it stopped pretty quickly and actually cooled things down nicely. Having a cool AC car to rest in between stops was helpful!

A Really Enjoyable Day with Poppy
I really enjoyed this tour with Poppy. The Grand Palace had so much to see, and she pointed out little details I would have missed on my own. The Reclining Buddha was one of the parts I liked most, and the temple by the river had a completely different feel from the other stops. Poppy was easy to talk to, knew the area very well and kept everything interesting throughout the day. I’m really glad we had her as our guide.

Great Day with Ken
Really happy with this tour. Ken was easy to talk to and took good care of us. The Grand Palace was my favourite. Would recommend.

Glad we had Adrian with us
The Grand Palace and temples were beautiful, but having Adrian there made everything much easier. He knew where to go, where to stop for photos and how to explain things without giving us too much information at once. The riverside temple was probably my favourite. A very good day overall.

Great Day With Poppy
Poppy was our guide for the day and she was lovely to be around. I really liked the Grand Palace, especially all the detailed walls and columns, but Wat Pho surprised me the most. The Reclining Buddha is huge when you see it up close, and the paintings inside were really interesting too. Poppy pointed out a few details we would probably have missed and also helped us find some good photo spots. Wat Arun was a nice way to finish the tour. Really happy we chose this one.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.
How much does Private Grand Palace Wat Pho Wat Arun highlight of bangkok cost?
+
Prices start at $131 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Grand Palace Wat Pho Wat Arun highlight of bangkok take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.
Is Private Grand Palace Wat Pho Wat Arun highlight of bangkok worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 75 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Grand Palace Wat Pho Wat Arun highlight of bangkok?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Grand Palace Wat Pho Wat Arun highlight of bangkok suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Grand Palace Wat Pho Wat Arun highlight of bangkok?
+
Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Grand Palace Wat Pho Wat Arun highlight of bangkok start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangkok?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
