Unmissable!

We loved our tour with Nicha! She helped us order foods that were perfect for us as pescatarians, and showed us parts of Bang Rak that we never could have accessed without her guidance. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Bangkok!

Awesome tour!!!

We absolutely loved our tour with Sarida!!! She was so so nice and clearly loves food and sharing about her culture. We had a blast with her exploring Bang Rak and the surrounding area and eating so much delicious food. It was super interesting learning about the different influences on Thai food in Bangkok and seeing the markets, food stalls, locals eating on the side of the road, and so much more. Plus the food was DELICIOUS! My favorite was the larb moo (ground pork salad) and getting to try things from drinks to snacks to main dishes to dessert. Such a great day and Sarida (Sally) was hysterical and wonderful and we truly enjoyed every minute. Thank you Sarida!!!!

A great evening in Bang Rak.

My wife and I had a lovely time with our guide Sally who was very engaging, friendly, and fun. We walked briefly between stops and tried many different foods. It was a great evening.

This tour was just myself...

This tour was just myself and my guide, Sally. She did a great job! I let her know that I had been on a different food tour earlier in the week and she made sure that I got to try different things from that one. The map with basic phrases was helpful to keep track of where we went so I can come back later. Highly recommended!

Scandalous! A complete waste of time.

I booked a tour, followed all the instructions, and yet the guide never showed up. It was my last evening in Bangkok, and I wasted hour waiting for someone who never appeared. They offered was a refund—which doesn't help after losing an entire evening. This is a total scandal. My time was wasted, and my last night in Bangkok was ruined. I will never use their services again and warn everyone to stay away from this company Bangkok Food Tour of Bang Rak with Local Guide , Operated by: Taste of Thailand

Bangkok Food Tour of Bang Rak with Local Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.

How much does Bangkok Food Tour of Bang Rak with Local Guide cost?

+

Prices start at $2500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bangkok Food Tour of Bang Rak with Local Guide take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.

Is Bangkok Food Tour of Bang Rak with Local Guide worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 329 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bangkok Food Tour of Bang Rak with Local Guide?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bangkok Food Tour of Bang Rak with Local Guide suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bangkok Food Tour of Bang Rak with Local Guide?

+

Around 115 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bangkok Food Tour of Bang Rak with Local Guide start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bangkok?

+

On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bangkok?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bangkok?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
