Trip a Deal to China is incredible Value

The 10 Day tour with Trip a Deal was excellent. A big shout out to the tour guides, Chris for the first 4 days, who was very knowledgeable and organised, and then Walker for the next 5 days. Walker was incredibly patient and nothing was too much of a problem. He also was an excellent communicator. These guides really made the trip and we saw some amazing sights. Not only that, the hotel accomodation was amazing. We felt really spoilt.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re absolutely delighted that you had such an excellent experience on your 10-day tour. Chris and Walker will be thrilled to know their knowledge, organization, patience, and communication made such a positive impact on your journey. We truly believe great guides make all the difference, and it’s fantastic to hear they helped create such memorable moments for you. That’s exactly the experience we strive to deliver. Thank you again for traveling with us, and we hope to welcome you on another adventure soon!

Tried more food than advertised. plus photos, Ida was amazing

Ida was incredible. We went to so many places to try food in china town. She asked us what we wanted to try most and went above and beyond to make sure we got to try those things. We got to try spring rolls, Tom yum soup, papaya salad, thai beer, lotus juice, green tea juice, crunchy pork, mango sticky rice, coconut ice cream, donuts with dipping sauce, queen of Thailand fruit, pork noodles, and possibly more. She also took 20 different pictures and shared them with us. The posting said we would try 8-9 things but we tried more than that. She also made sure we had a safe ride back to our hotel. I would totally recommend Ida.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It sounds like you had a truly delicious and fun experience exploring Chinatown! We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to her. Thank you for recommending her, and we hope to welcome you back on another unforgettable tour in the future!

    Amazing food tour

This was an amazing experience! Zarut took me to many places and I've tasted so many different dishes. His advice was solid; eating street food is no problem as long as you see it being prepared in front of you. As an European I was cautious but never experienced anything negative. I would truly recommend this tour!

Response from the operator: We're thrilled to hear that you had such an amazing experience with Zarut! Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we're grateful for the opportunity to showcase the rich food culture of the area. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back for more adventures soon!

    Great Possibility but Bad Timing

We started our tour at 3:30 p.m.. Our guide, Kat, did her best to have us experience the street food scene in Chinatown, but many of the street vendors were closed for the day crowd or not yet open for the evening crowd. Instead, we visited a few restaurants and had similar food, but not the street food we hoped to taste. Chinatown was great, Kat did her best. This tour would be great as long as one goes earlier or later in the day.

Response from the operator: Hi Daniel, We appreciate your understanding of the circumstances during the tour. We're pleased to hear that Kat made the best of the situation, and we value your feedback on the timing. Based on your input, we're adjusting the time slot for this experience. We're grateful for the opportunity to find a fair solution and look forward to welcoming you back for another culinary adventure at a more suitable time of day! Warm regards, Ruslan and the City Unscripted Team.

A great tour - in fact the best tour and tour guide.

My tour guide asked exactly what I wanted and my level of comfort eating some “out of the ordinary” food and delivered an outstanding tour. You won’t be disappointed if you book this tour. If so ask for Monmanus as your guide. This was the best tour I have ever booked.

Bangkok Food Tour with a Local: China Town Feast for Foodies 100% Personalized: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.

How much does Bangkok Food Tour with a Local: China Town Feast for Foodies 100% Personalized cost?

    +

Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bangkok Food Tour with a Local: China Town Feast for Foodies 100% Personalized take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.

Is Bangkok Food Tour with a Local: China Town Feast for Foodies 100% Personalized worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bangkok Food Tour with a Local: China Town Feast for Foodies 100% Personalized?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bangkok Food Tour with a Local: China Town Feast for Foodies 100% Personalized suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bangkok Food Tour with a Local: China Town Feast for Foodies 100% Personalized?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bangkok Food Tour with a Local: China Town Feast for Foodies 100% Personalized start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bangkok?

    +

On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bangkok?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bangkok?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
