Fantastic tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide
We booked 2 excursions with Rocky Mountain Trips and we were not disappointed. We appreciated that both Luis and Tito added extra stops on each tour that maximised what we saw in our short time in the Rockies. The guide Luis had a wealth of knowledge on the local area, giving us key advice at every stop to ensure we got the most out of our visit. He also gave us recommendations on where to eat and showed us where the best spots were for photos, even taking them when we needed him to. Our group was 23 people as we had the larger minibus, but this didn’t impact on the experience that we had on this tour. Luis was so friendly and chatted to everyone on the tour making us feel so welcome. The incredible sights, relaxed atmosphere, fantastic guide and the comfortable minibus made for an enjoyable experience that exceeded our expectations. If you are visiting the Rockies, you should definitely book with Rocky Mountain Trips.

An excellent experience
I had the pleasure of taking the Explore Banff National Park & Lake Louise Day Trip with Rocky Mountain Trips in October 2026. Rock Mountain Trips is a family-owned company and the personal, unhurried experience it provided was excellent. Our guide on the day, Mario, was excellent. He provided information about the beautiful places we visited and went out of his way to ensure that each guest enjoyed the trip to the maximum extent. Mario also had great recommendations about where to eat - and not to eat - in Banff which was very much appreciated. If you are visiting Calgary and want to explore Banff, I cannot recommend Rocky Mountain Trips more highly.

He values his customers and provides exceptional value. It was an all day event seeing three lakes, waterfalls, and experiencing the town of Banff.

Perfect intro day trip to Banff
Very on time with plenty of time on each site. Insightful information throughout the trip. Gave a little history lesson of the region and what to expect. Lots of tips on the best views of the destinations.
