Wonderful Trip for Banff National Park and Jesper National Park

We had a wonderful trip with WSstar Travel between June 16 and June 19. Guide is Lisa Rong. She is excellent lady with wonderful service she provided. I strongly recommended my friends to take this trip in the future.

Response from the operator: Thank you for traveling with Westar Travel, that is really our pleasure to providing you a nice and memorable trip in the amazing Rockies!

Review of 4 day journey with westar vacation tour

Worst tour company ever. Change my iterney without notifying in advance, very rude customer service, document of departure cannot be opened. Tipping is compulsory, ask tourists to wait for 2 hour for picking up a add-on customer. Some of their tour guide are pretty nice but their management are messy and unaccountable. If you meet any issues on your journey this company likely to pass the buck. Their phone line are cannot be answered and their toll free phone were completely making nonsense. Don’t buy their service.

Response from the operator: Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for sharing your review. It appears there might be some confusion as this is a winter tour that has not yet commenced. To assist us in understanding your experience better, could you kindly specify the tour and date you participated in? This will enable us to investigate and address the feedback you've provided. Please feel free to contact us via email at customercare@westartravel.ca. Your input is valuable to us, and we appreciate your assistance in clarifying the details of your experience.

    Joyous Journey with Simon!!!!!!

We really learned a lot from Simon as a tour guide. His knowledge is rich, like a living encyclopedia. He talks about the historical background and cultural connotation of each scenic spot with gusto, and he focuses on the process of our visit. It shared many secrets that the locals knew beforehand, which made our experience even more colorful. It was like participating in an exciting and fun treasure hunt, with new discoveries every day. Simon's way of guiding is not just about sharing information, but also about sharing passion. His enthusiasm is really contagious, and it is obvious that he has a deep love for his job as a tour guide. Even when faced with our endless questions, his patience and kindness never diminished. What was most amazing was how attentive he was to making sure the trip was comfortable and engaging. Whatever our needs were, he took care of them and made sure we got the best out of the experience. All in all, Simon gave us more than just a guided tour, he gave us a trip that we will treasure forever. If you are planning to travel, be sure to choose Simon as your tour guide! We believe you will have many happy memories during your trip. Looking forward to the next adventure with Simon!

Banff & Lake Louise 4-Day Winter Tour with Icefields Parkway: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Banff.

How much does Banff & Lake Louise 4-Day Winter Tour with Icefields Parkway cost?

    +

Prices start at $866 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Banff usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Banff & Lake Louise 4-Day Winter Tour with Icefields Parkway take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Banff is not rushed.

Is Banff & Lake Louise 4-Day Winter Tour with Icefields Parkway worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Banff, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Banff & Lake Louise 4-Day Winter Tour with Icefields Parkway?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Banff & Lake Louise 4-Day Winter Tour with Icefields Parkway suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Banff & Lake Louise 4-Day Winter Tour with Icefields Parkway?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Banff can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Banff and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Banff & Lake Louise 4-Day Winter Tour with Icefields Parkway start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Banff within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Banff?

    +

On Outty we rank every Banff experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hop-On and Hop-Off Banff Bus, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the Icefields Parkway Full-Day Tour, Lake Louise Emerald Lake Natural Bridge Half Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Banff?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Banff?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Banff & Lake Louise 4-Day Winter Tour with Icefields Parkway?
