    Excellent experience

The Banff Trips ended happily, and the next day we met Lisa's guide, explained the Attractions meticulously and accompanied us on the tour, told us where to take the best photos and made great memories of helping us take them. At noon we didn't know what to eat well, and every time Lisa gave a share of the food, making us eat well and playfully. The last day we booked a hotel, because we couldn't speak English we couldn't contact the hotel to pick up, and after talking to Lisa Lisa enthusiastically helped us call the hotel then the hotel drove us in. This Trips had a lot of fun because we met Lisa, and because Lisa guides us know there is a West Star, I hope to meet Lisa as a professional and caring guide on our next Trips, so that our Trips have no worries. Finally, it's moving, thankful, thankful!

    Response from the operator: 感谢您的反馈,很高兴听到Lisa导游为您带来了愉快的旅行体验!她的细致讲解、贴心帮助和美食推荐让您的旅程更加难忘。我们期待未来再次为您服务,感谢您的支持,祝您旅途愉快!

Amber was great. The tour was great but went to the Banff gondola too early that the whole area was all cloudy

Amber was great. Too early to the Banff gondola so no scenic view at all. Very disappointed. Lunch at the Fairmont was great.

Response from the operator: Thank you for Traveling with us. We’re glad to hear that Amber made your trip enjoyable. Looking forward to welcome you for another trip.

    Beautiful experience

Jamie is a knowledgeable guide. She provided us with the perfect amount of information of the location and guidance. Very organised and patient. Her bilingual skill in English and mandarin is commendable. I will have her as my guide anytime. She was my guide for Lake Louise and took us back to Calgary. The itinieary was fast. You see a lot of places at an economic cost. Hotels are great. Westar took care off all the admin work. All i have to do was show up with my luggage.

Banff & Lake Louise 5-Day Winter Tour with Icefields, Drumheller: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Banff.

How much does Banff & Lake Louise 5-Day Winter Tour with Icefields, Drumheller cost?

    +

Prices start at $1,078 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Banff usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Banff & Lake Louise 5-Day Winter Tour with Icefields, Drumheller take?

    +

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Banff is not rushed.

Is Banff & Lake Louise 5-Day Winter Tour with Icefields, Drumheller worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Banff, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Banff & Lake Louise 5-Day Winter Tour with Icefields, Drumheller?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Banff & Lake Louise 5-Day Winter Tour with Icefields, Drumheller suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Banff & Lake Louise 5-Day Winter Tour with Icefields, Drumheller?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Banff can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Banff and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Banff & Lake Louise 5-Day Winter Tour with Icefields, Drumheller start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Banff within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Banff?

    +

On Outty we rank every Banff experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hop-On and Hop-Off Banff Bus, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the Icefields Parkway Full-Day Tour, Lake Louise Emerald Lake Natural Bridge Half Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Banff?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Banff?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
