    Our tour guide, Louis,...

Our tour guide, Louis, was informative and excited to share the history of Fells Point. We enjoyed all tastes and the walk through the area. We had a small group which was really nice. Only comment we have is that we would have liked to have the tour end at the same place it started as we parked near the starting point and had to get back there after the tour ourselves, which was ok, but not knowing the area beforehand gave us some worry.

Response from the operator: It was a pleasure getting to know you during the tour. We hope you enjoyed the places we shared as much as we enjoyed introducing them to you. Thank you for making Secret Food Tours part of your visit!

    No show ruined our day

Our guide never showed up, despite receiving multiple confirmation emails and messages. When we tried to contact the tour operator (Secret Food tours) they did not respond.

Response from the operator: Hi Michelle, please know that situations like this are uncommon, but on the rare occasion that unforeseen circumstances affect a tour, we always work to find the best possible solution for the guest. In this case, we did reach out with updates and offered alternative options, and we regret that those communications did not reach you as intended. When we did not hear back, we promptly processed a full refund. We appreciate you sharing your perspective, as feedback like this helps us continue refining how we communicate and manage unexpected situations. We would be glad to welcome you back to Secret Food Tours for the experience you originally planned, and we hope we have the opportunity to provide you with the enjoyable and well-organized tour our guests typically experience.

Wonderful day spent eating and learning the history of a new city

This was such an enjoyable experience with wonderful food. Louis was a fantastic guide for both Baltimore food and history and an all around interesting person. He was a pleasure to talk to! The food was very good. I had two small complaints that would have made this a 5 star experience...first, we did not get water until the 3rd stop and that is easily fixed with giving everyone a bottle of water at the first stop. Second, one of our stops was a souvenir shop. Just no. But it was a short visit and the rest of the tour was fabulous!

Response from the operator: Thank you for choosing us. Secret Food Tours is fortunate to welcome guests who place such value on discovering a city through its local character. We've also noted your added thoughts as we continue to refine the experience. We look forward to seeing you again!

    +

Prices start at $108 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Baltimore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Baltimore: Fells Point & Little Italy Food Tour with 7 Tastings take?

How far in advance should I book Baltimore: Fells Point & Little Italy Food Tour with 7 Tastings?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Baltimore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Baltimore and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Baltimore?

    +

Baltimore leans on the Inner Harbor: Fort McHenry visits, harbour cruises, Edgar Allan Poe and ghost walks, crab-focused food tours and a strong museum lineup within walking distance. On Outty we rank every Baltimore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Baltimore Walking Foodie Tour in Fells Point, Fells Point Food Tour in Baltimore, Glow in the Dark Splatter Paint Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Baltimore?

    +

April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Baltimore?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
