Fantastic way to experience the real Bali food scene
We had such a great time on this food tour with Bayu. We’ve been to Bali a few times before, but this was a completely different experience and gave us a chance to see and taste a side of Bali we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Bayu was an absolute legend from start to finish — really friendly, relaxed and easy to chat with. He knew all the best spots and explained what we were eating along the way, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We tried heaps of different local foods, fresh tropical fruit and some delicious dishes that we probably wouldn’t have been brave enough to order ourselves! Everything felt very authentic and local rather than touristy, which was exactly what we were hoping for. The tour was really well organised but still felt relaxed and spontaneous. We never felt rushed, and there was plenty of time to enjoy the food and have a good yarn with Bayu. If you’re heading to Bali and want to get away from the usual tourist restaurants, I’d definitely recommend giving this a go. Great food, great company and a really fun afternoon. We had an absolute ripper of a time! Would 100% do it again next time we’re in Bali
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the amazing review! It was an absolute pleasure showing you around and sharing some of Bali’s local food and hidden gems with you. I’m so glad you enjoyed trying all the different dishes and tropical fruits — and had a good yarn along the way! It was great having you both along, and I’m really happy you got to experience a different side of Bali. Thanks again for joining the tour, and hopefully we’ll see you again next time you’re back on the island!

A Truly Special Food Tour Experience
This food tour with Bayu was such a wonderful experience! From the very beginning, Bayu was incredibly kind, friendly and welcoming. What really stood out was how much he cared about his guests — he made sure we felt comfortable, looked after and genuinely enjoyed every moment of the experience. The food was absolutely delicious and, most importantly, truly local. We got to discover authentic Balinese flavours and places that felt far away from the typical tourist experience, while everything was clean and hygienic. The locations were fascinating, but what made the tour truly special was Bayu himself. His knowledge of Balinese food, culture and local life is incredible, and he shares it in such a natural and engaging way that you feel like you are discovering Bali with a friend rather than simply taking a tour. Thank you, Bayu, for such a experience! ❤️
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this beautiful review! ❤️ It truly means a lot to us. We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed the food, discovered authentic Balinese flavours and felt comfortable throughout the experience. For us, the best part of hosting a food tour is being able to share not only our favourite local food, but also a little piece of Balinese culture and everyday life. Hearing that you felt like you were discovering Bali with a friend makes us incredibly happy. Thank you for spending this time with us and for your kind words about Bayu. It was a real pleasure having you on the tour, and we hope to see you again in Bali someday!

a great Bali experience
I joined the food tour in November 2025 and it was such a great experience! One of my favorite parts was visiting the local fish market and trying the food there - it felt really authentic and was definitely one of the highlights of the tour. The guide was super friendly, easy to talk to, and happy to answer all of my questions. At the end of the tour, he also gave me lots of great recommendations and useful tips for traveling around the island, which I really appreciated. I did the tour solo and felt completely comfortable the whole time, so I can definitely recommend it to anyone traveling alone. Great food, great atmosphere, and a really fun way to experience the local side of the island! :)
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the food tour, especially the local fish market, and that you felt comfortable traveling with us as a solo traveler. It was a pleasure having you with us! We’re also glad the recommendations and tips were helpful. We hope to see you again on Bali someday!

This was a great first...
This was a great first tour for us in Bali! Our guide, Bay was very thoughtful and knowledgeable. We had a nice walk around the markets and tried some unique food. Bay took us to try some great coffee and we ended the night with a beautiful feast of food. We learnt a lot about the food we tried and the areas we walked through. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! 😊 It was a pleasure sharing our local food, coffee, and culture with you. We hope to see you again on another Bali adventure!

Authentic local eats!
We had an amazing experience on the Bali night market food tour with Bay! He really went above and beyond, taking the time to carefully select authentic local foods from both the Bandung market and a neighborhood restaurant we never would have found on our own. Every stop felt genuine and thoughtfully chosen. And the amount of food is absolutely insane— you definitely won’t leave hungry! If you’re looking for a true local food experience with a knowledgeable and friendly guide, this tour is a must-do.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 It truly means a lot to me. I’m really happy you enjoyed the experience and got to discover authentic local flavors—this is exactly what I hope to share on every tour. I’m glad the food selection and stops felt special and genuine, and yes… there’s always a LOT of food! 😄 It was a pleasure hosting you, and I hope to see you again someday in Bali. Thanks again for your support—it really helps my small local business grow! 🙏

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bali: Night Market & Local Warung Food Tour with 15+ Tastings: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.
How much does Bali: Night Market & Local Warung Food Tour with 15+ Tastings cost?
+
Prices start at $450000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bali: Night Market & Local Warung Food Tour with 15+ Tastings take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.
Is Bali: Night Market & Local Warung Food Tour with 15+ Tastings worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bali: Night Market & Local Warung Food Tour with 15+ Tastings?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bali: Night Market & Local Warung Food Tour with 15+ Tastings suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bali: Night Market & Local Warung Food Tour with 15+ Tastings?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bali: Night Market & Local Warung Food Tour with 15+ Tastings start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seminyak?
+
On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Bali Waterfalls: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan, Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Scenic Spots, Ubud Hot Springs and Waterfall Private Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seminyak?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seminyak?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
