Fun, Filling and Yum!

Our guide, June, was very friendly and knowledgeable, both about Denpasar and the food we tasted. Absolutely delicious food, including local coffee in places you might not visit as a first time tourist - but will definitely go back to for an authentic local experience.

Response from the operator: Thanks alot for your time to book with us and leaving this review. And indeed we try to give the tourist a unique authentic experience, that is why we chose Bali's heart of Denpasar. Thanks again dear.

Great food, tour, and guide - thank you, June! <3

June was an amazing, friendly, knowledgeable guide! She led us to amazing food that we never would have found on our own, while giving us helpful tips and just having great conversations along the way. She even sent us the names of the dishes afterwards so we can (try to) find them again on our own. She is a wonderful guide and all around good person. 10/10 recommend!

Response from the operator: Hey Mason, thanks for choosing PinkAlien Food Tours. And we are truly glad to know that you got to experience the authentic side of Bali through our awesome guide June. We highly appreciate your time to leave the review as well

Perfection

Highly recommended. We wanted to ensure we had the taste of Bali as we tend to pack our holidays with a lot of excursions and this was a way to guarantee it. We were not disappointed. Such outstanding, tasty local food and a good variety. Be prepared to pace yourself because you will want to finish everything that is provided to you. June was a great host and tour guide. Very warm and welcoming with great knowledge. You will be very lucky to have her as your guide.

Response from the operator: Its amazing to read such heartwarming reviews. We truly are happy that you enjoyed your time with our lovaly local guide and the Balinese culture and food. Its our pleasure to have added good memories to your Bali trip. Bless you

Worth it!

What a fantastic experience! June is wonderful and points out key places on the walk, she is very knowledgeable. So, much, food!! Brilliant! The Godzilla chicken was awesome, the clay pot, the noodles, the mangosteen, the coffee, the pandan cake…….. Use Gojek as there are no taxis in the main city. Thank you June 🙌🏼

Response from the operator: It warms our heart to know that you enjoyed June's company, and got to explore a bit of the Balinese/Indonesian beautiful cuisine & culture. Thanks for trusting us with your time & bellies :D

Most memorable food and culture tour of Bali

Dear June, We just wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible Denpasar food tour. Our tour guide, June, truly made the experience unforgettable! Her passion for Balinese culture and cuisine shone through in every story she shared, making each stop not just a meal, but a delightful journey into the heart of Bali. Sitting with her in the local market, savoring delicious foods and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere, was a highlight of our trip. Her enthusiasm and knowledge brought the flavors of Bali to life, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. June ensured that we had transportation to return to the hotel. We’ll cherish these moments!

Response from the operator: As the owner (Non-Indonesian), it warms my heart to see a review like this. As its a reminder for us, to why we choose the magical island of Bali, and specifically Denpasar to be able to show the authentic experiences. And of course, why we chose our lovely guide, June. Thanks again for trusting us with you foodie adventures.

Bali Must-Try Food Tour (Denpasar): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.

How much does Bali Must-Try Food Tour (Denpasar) cost?

+

Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bali Must-Try Food Tour (Denpasar) take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.

Is Bali Must-Try Food Tour (Denpasar) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bali Must-Try Food Tour (Denpasar)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bali Must-Try Food Tour (Denpasar) suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Bali Must-Try Food Tour (Denpasar)?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bali Must-Try Food Tour (Denpasar) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seminyak?

+

On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Bali Waterfalls: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan, Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Scenic Spots, Ubud Hot Springs and Waterfall Private Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seminyak?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seminyak?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
