About this experience

This tour is a compromise between an informative walk and a food tour. I will take you to 2 different "bacari" where you will taste a glass of wine (or soft drink) and a cicchetto in each bar and the last place will be to taste a fantastic homemade ICE CREAM (in the summer) or a typical dessert. At the same time I will show you a more authentic and less touristy Venice, we will see a courtyard with a legendary history, a particular bridge, buildings out of time, I will tell you anecdotes and curiosities about this splendid city ... and much more! Venice is a magical city, so don't be surprised by what we will see, because only in Venice can this happen...

Great tour with a friendly host and great food & drink!

Roberto was such a great guide and showed us some really interesting parts of Venice that we would have never stumbled upon on our own. We went back to some of the Bacaros he took us to the next day because they were so good! Roberto also introduced us to the Select Spritz, which we are now obsessed with. I would totally recommend this tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much: I oinly have to say that when my clients are satisfied, I'm satisfied too ! All the best 4 U !

Good value - nice tour with snacks and drinks

Nice way to spend a couple of hours. We purposefully went for a shorter tour and this was ideal, had a couple of drinks (tried the spritz and the wine) and some different snacks. Its not going to fill you up for the day, but we tried some new food and learned some new facts! Does what is promised !

Response from the operator: Thanks a lot for your words dear Jonathan, I had a great afternoon with you ! Roberto

We love Roberto!

This was a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in Venice! Roberto was the most amazing guide. I took a group of nine 20-something year olds on this tour and Roberto had them engaged, laughing, and interested the entire time! I highly recommend doing this informative and fun tour.

Response from the operator: Thanks a lot for you lovely words, they touched me ! All the best ! Roberto

Bacaro Tour : Walk, eat and drink in Venice: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.

How much does Bacaro Tour : Walk, eat and drink in Venice cost?

+

Prices start at $105 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bacaro Tour : Walk, eat and drink in Venice take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Bacaro Tour : Walk, eat and drink in Venice worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bacaro Tour : Walk, eat and drink in Venice?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bacaro Tour : Walk, eat and drink in Venice suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bacaro Tour : Walk, eat and drink in Venice?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bacaro Tour : Walk, eat and drink in Venice start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

+

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
