    Sydney’s best

Tristan is the best. The trip is well planned and very enjoyable. Tristan made it very interesting and kept us entertained all day. The Reptile park is so much fun especially interacting with the animals. The lunch that he prepared was delicious and well worth the price. They even brought me beer because I don’t like wine. Boomerangs at the end were cool. Thank you for a great trip

    Fabulous tour with Sean

This was everything we hoped for and so much more! Sean really knows the area and is so knowledgeable! Sean is a genuinely nice person and accommodated our eating needs (the bbq was delicious and plentiful). He even showed us how to throw a boomerang!🪃 While visiting the Australian Reptile Park, he introduced us to koalas, kangaroos and other reptiles, then gave us ample time to explore on our own. He took lots of photos and airdropped them to us at the end of the day. We will be back in the Sydney area and will definitely make plans to explore more with Sean!

    Best time with Koalas!

Great time! Time spent with the animals, Kangaroos, Koalas, etc was perfect not rushed. Photos were great, guides took and shared them. Food spread was outstanding!

Response from the operator: Thank you Sarah. Tristan and I had a great time hanging out with you guys! We're so glad you enjoyed the free photo gallery! Our BBQ lunch is indeed something we pride ourselves on too. So happy we both got to co-host you. Please reach out if you're ever back in Sydney! Sean & Tristan

    Quintessential Australian Experience

The quintessential Australian experience for outsiders: feed kangaroos, snap a pic with koalas, see other exotic Australian creatures. Then enjoy a grilled lunch, sample some Australian wines, and learn how to throw a boomerang.

Response from the operator: Well that just sums it up! Hahaha thank you Karen! To be the quintessential Australian experience, while keeping things authentic, donating to an animal charity, getting intimate with a koala and kangaroos, throwing boomerangs, avoiding clichés, and cooking a massive all-you-can-eat lunch... that is always our goal! So happy you enjoyed the Aussie wines with lunch as well. We make a lot of delicious wine over here. Always fun to show it off! Thank you so much for booking in and trusting us with your animals day! <3 Sean & Tristan

    Fantastic tour

Sean & Tristan were fantastic! I highly recommend this tour. The guides are fun, passionate, knowledgeable and kind!

Response from the operator: Kimberly you're too kind. We do our best to share the beautiful animals, stories, flavours and VIP access that we have. We're so lucky to be born in this country and can't help sharing everything about it. So grateful that you chose to book in! Let us know if you ever get back to Sydney. We should have some amazing new experiences in the future. Sean & Tristan

Baby Animals, Boomerangs and BBQ Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.

How much does Baby Animals, Boomerangs and BBQ Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Baby Animals, Boomerangs and BBQ Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.

Is Baby Animals, Boomerangs and BBQ Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 62 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Baby Animals, Boomerangs and BBQ Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Baby Animals, Boomerangs and BBQ Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Baby Animals, Boomerangs and BBQ Lunch?

    +

Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Baby Animals, Boomerangs and BBQ Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sydney?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sydney?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sydney?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
